Willie treated me as an equal to my boyfriend and gave me the upmost respect, something I don’t get a lot as a young woman in car dealerships. The waiting area is also exceptional and a great place to work while you wait. Also loved the store cat, 10/10. We will always come back here and ask for Willie! More

We have a 2021 Wrangler Rubicon with just over 6,000 miles, bought new in July 2021. After several months we noticed rust forming on the rear bumper. Took it in for its first oil change on Dec 29, 202 miles, bought new in July 2021. After several months we noticed rust forming on the rear bumper. Took it in for its first oil change on Dec 29, 2021 (RO #547610 and 549662) to Lake Norman Jeep and told the service writer about the rust. He took pictures of it. When picking up the car another service rep had no idea of the rust issue and took pictures himself. He said he would have an answer before the New Year. That call never came and we contacted the dealership right after the new year. They could not locate the photos taken by 2 employees. One was out with ill. After several days I finally get a call from management. He said a Chrysler rep would be coming to the dealership to review the "pictures". The rep declined to cover the repair saying it was caused by "outside influence" meaning US! Contacted Jeep to start a case. They also declined because of the reps use of the words "outside influence". Yesterday, I contacted Hannah who works there (she is a great communicator by the way). I figured if Jeep and the dealership won't cover a 7 month old car rusting then I would ask for the parts to be handed to me and I would take care of it. We are talking about two carriage bolts washers and nuts, what $15.00 tops. Hannah emailed me this morning saying management declined to pay for the $15 in parts. I was floored to say the least. Now don't get me wrong, it is in no way about the money, it's pure principle. I have provided 2 pictures in case the managers have lost them again and to show how bad it looks. I wrote this review today to: 1. get managements or owners attention and maybe get this resolved and 2. to warn potential future or current customers to avoid this place at all efforts. Please keep in mind that I was a second generation new car dealer in New York for 35 years of our 72 year company. We would NEVER let an issue like this go unresolved. Imagine if it were a more serious issue costing more money!! A final note to Jeep Wrangler owners 2020-2021, there is a class action lawsuit formed in December 2021 for rust issues on new Jeeps. I will not be joining that as my issue is merely cosmetic. Shame on the management and or owner of Lake Norman Jeep. If you are in management you should certainly know better. More
