I traveled from out of state to purchase a vehicle. I sat staring at a wall for 2.5 hours and ultimately ended up having to walk out before I could ever get a finance offer in my hand. I then spent some time debating with someone in sales (not Maggie) about the difference between the administrative fee and the title and document handling fee. This person was willing to let me walk away but not competent enough to provide an explanation other than "they're different." I ultimately decided to pay the fee since I was in desperate need of a new car and ready to leave. I was able to settle on a finance offer but not without some deliberation. My biggest upset is that after paying an absorbent amount of doc fees that I didn't agree with, I was sent home with zero instruction expecting to receive a new tag in the mail. My tag is now expired and after reaching out to the dealership I am now learning I must pay property taxes in my home state and submit the receipt to the dealer before the DMV can issue me a new tag. I would have done this the day after purchasing had I known. Certainly, after collecting $1,150 in fees, someone, somewhere could have put forth a little more effort (or any at all) to ensure I received a replacement tag in a more timely manner. After calling the dealership out on this, I was given the response "it's not the responsibility of the dealership to handle your property taxes." No, it's not. It is, however, the responsibility of the dealership to inform me of what actions I need to take to help fulfill your obligation to ensure I receive a replacement tag -- a service that I paid for. More

Do not stand behind their product! UDPATE: LKN Chrysler contacted me to resolve amicably. ______________________ Bought my '16 Ford Explorer used from LKN Chrysler with the extended UDPATE: LKN Chrysler contacted me to resolve amicably. ______________________ Bought my '16 Ford Explorer used from LKN Chrysler with the extended warranty. Brought it in over the course of 2 months for check engine light and they ended up determining I needed to replace the motor for ~$10K. Their warranty company they sold to me also denied the claim was stating work I had done at another shop caused the issue. Yet they will not provide me with anything in writing or any paperwork whatsoever from the warranty company that they sell stating the claim denial & reasoning and damage cause. How am I to assume the warranty company did not just deny the claim due to the high expense and no other reason? Background: They sent my vehicle to Huntersville Ford to diagnose through all of this and never once followed up with me to tell me the diagnosis or my options when they had my vehicle for over 2 weeks. I finally got in touch with them and they told me that my vehicle was torn apart at Huntersville Ford and I could have it towed or pay Ford to replace the motor. What kind of customer service is this? This dealer does not value it's clients. Especially those that bought a brand from them that is not a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram. They do not follow up on service. They do not hold their warranty company THEY SELL accountable, and they do not make things right. They are only concerned with a sale and no service to follow.
