TIRES FOR LIFE-----FALSE ADVERTISING Several years ago, my son and I visited Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and purchased a new Dodge Challenger for my son. A big selling feature tha Several years ago, my son and I visited Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and purchased a new Dodge Challenger for my son. A big selling feature that the very nice salesman told us about was "Tires for Life" that came with the car. Well, a year or so later the car needed tires but when my son brought the car to the dealership for a new set of tires he was treated very badly and he was told that he would need to pay for the tires. My son is a very respectful, kind and intelligent young man currently in medical school. When he called me and told me that in addition to being rudely that he was refused the free tires, I called the dealership and after threatening them with a poor review with BBB and JD Powers, as well as threatening to sue them for false advertising, they reluctantly agreed to give him the tires. Now, it's tire time again and we were once again denied the free set of tires. We were told that since his car was a Dodge Challenger that it only qualified for one set of free tires. They explained that his car required "performance tires" and that only one set of performance tires means "TIRES FOR LIFE". Although ridiculous, I did not want to challenge this and we purchased the tires elsewhere. The funny thing is that if they had initially told us that there would be one set of free tires with the purchase of this car, we would have been very pleased and thankful. But they boasted their "TIRES FOR LIFE" claim loudly and pridefully during the sales process and they just did not nearly live up to their claim and even made us work and threaten for the one set of tires we did receive. I can't imagine ever buying or dealing with this dealership in the future. More

We had called Devin Considine earlier in the week, and he had the car waiting for us at the entrance to the dealership when we arrived. I gave this dealership an overall rating of "Excellent" for the following reasons: The atmosphere of the dealership was welcoming. Devin was friendly, honest, patient, and knowledgeable. Devin never pressured us to buy the car, but instead, he was a trusted mediator and helped us arrive at a desired sales price. We traded a 2012 Durango for the new car, and we received a very fair trade. If we could have changed any aspect of this sale, we would have preferred a lower doc fee. It was about $500 more than our local Dodge dealership. The bottom line is that I am loving my new ride! It's a beautiful car. Thanks, Devin, for making us feel like family! You deserve a raise!!
