In late October of 2009, I was in the Lake Norman area In late October of 2009, I was in the Lake Norman area and stopped in at Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge dealership just to "look around". I was not intending to buy anything that particular day but was interested in purchasing a Truck in the next 6-12 months. As I arrived I was greeted by a salesman named Karum Johnson. He was very friendly, knowledgable, and by no means "over bearing". I looked at a couple of trucks that I was interested in but not ready to buy. Over the next couple months I would often inquire about different trucks on the lot but did not always have the time to drive 1 1/2 hours to see the vehicles in person. I would often email KJ about trucks that I thought I would like. To my surprise, KJ emailed me back with a link to a video of the truck I inquired about. The personalized video that he narrated included exterior and interior features that were included with that particular truck. For the next couple months this had become a normal routine and saved me a lot of time and gas money. KJ would even provide me with videos of trucks that he thought I would be interested in even if I didn't inquire about them. This was very helpful because I didn't get to search for trucks daily and their inventory changes very frequently. During April-May 2010 I had put my vehicle search on hold. At that point I had not seen the perfect truck for me. On Monday June 14th 2010 I decided to search their website again. I came across a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 that I was interested in. I emailed KJ and he sent me a video of the vehicle. I loved the truck and the options that came with it. I told him that I would like to come in Wednesday to look at the truck in person. He said it was his day off but he would gladly set up a time to meet me there when it was convient for me. I arrived at 9:30am on Wednesday and by 9:45am we were test driving the truck. After the test drive I knew that I had found the truck for me. After all the paperwork the truck is mine. I really appreciate all the time and effort that KJ has given me over the past 8 months. He has been patient with me and always willing to keep searching for the truck that would best suit me. However, for the purpose of this rating, I will focus on the purchase of o my automotive needs and questions at Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep and Dodge. However, for the purpose of this rating, I will focus on the purchase of our latest vehicle. I met Mr. Jay Tarlowe one night on the way home with my children just to take a peek at the new 2010 Dodge Challengers in stock at the dealership. Jay was very easy going and provided me with all the information I needed to visit again, with my wife, for a test drive. My wife and I were looking at the Chevy Camaro but Jay did a wonderful job in providing us with comparisons that proved to us that the Challenger was the choice to go with - although, the car itself was doing a good job of that by itself. Jay was never pushy and was not your "harrassing" salesperson. He allowed us time to think about our important decision and we are happy to say that we purchased our Challenger, from Jay, at Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep and Dodge. We also are the proud owners of a Chrysler 300C which has been serviced for the past 4 years at LKNCJD because the service department is knowledgable, quick, convenient, friendly and always puts the customer first. We look forward to many more years of pleasure from driving our Chrysler and Dodge vehicles and the staff at Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep and Dodge when it comes time for service and future vehicles for our three children. I have previously leased a vehicle through Lake Norman and last summer purchased 2 new vehicles within a month of each other. The overall experience was very satisfactory. We recently traveled to Wrightsville Beach for a holiday weekend and my 2009 PT Cruiser broke down on the side of the road and we had to have the car towed to the Chrysler dealer in Wilmington. After hearing that it was the fuel pump and because of the holiday weekend would be several days after our planned departure date before the part would be in, I called KJ at Lake Norman Chrysler and explained our situation and he and his manager worked together to provide a rental car for us in Wilmington. My husband and I felt this went above and beyond our expectations and we were very grateful. Everyone we have ever dealt with at this dealership has been extremely pleasant and I would recommend them without hesitation. More
