A Solid Choice of Dealership for a Typical Buying Experience My intent in this review is not to turn you away from the dealership, but just my observation that it wasn't any different than experiences I've had w My intent in this review is not to turn you away from the dealership, but just my observation that it wasn't any different than experiences I've had with other dealerships in the past. I had a poor experience online with a sales representative but after their scheduling coordinator reached out and apologized, I decided to give it another shot. I was paired with a different sales representative who assisted me and I ultimately purchased the vehicle I came in for. I chose this dealership in large part due to their additional year of free maintenance (on top of Hyundai's current 3-year promotion). I had been quoted a different price online for the car than I was given when I came in, which I contested but my concern was not accommodated. I asked for the best offer and when I decided to turn down what I was given, it was revised multiple times (I understand this is how car-buying works but I was naively hoping this would be a better experience and I could avoid that). I was made to feel like I was letting them down by not accepting the first offer I was given. They also advertise that they will pay over KBB value for your vehicle, which they would not do for me even though I advised that there were multiple other dealerships willing to give me a much larger amount which I had documentation for. The dealership itself had a good selection of vehicles, the work space was bright and open, the employees were respectful of the current safety and sanitation guidelines in place, and it looked like their service department was having a genuinely good time. I'm not upset that I'll be going to this dealership for the next 4 years, but I hope others have an easier and less dramatic time than I did in purchasing their vehicle from Lakeland Hyundai. More
