Mr. Cole provided summary information on the entire Santa Fe product line and asked the necessary/relevant questions to focus on which model(s) and features/options would best suit our daughters needs/wish list. He was more than happy to set up and conduct several test drives within the Santa Fe Sport line, both with and without the turbo engine option. He was made aware that other manufacturers were being evaluated too in person by us, but that did not affect his professional handling of a prospective sale. He didn't try to pressure our daughter or resort to low-brow tactics of comparing the Hyundai brand vs. the competition. He stuck to the facts and let us perform our own comparative analysis and draw our own conclusions. He and another sales rep worked for hours after we left and the dealership had closed for the day to trouble-shoot a technical glitch between the vehicle's Android linkage & features and a LG V10 mobile phone with the Android Auto app. Said glitch was resolved successfully with the root cause traced to a flaky USB data & sync interface cable and not the Hyundai hardware or software. Our daughter was offered a generous trade-in value on her 2011 Camry and a financing rebate and other $$$ incentives. The exact desired color/configuration was not in stock, so the dealer did not hesitate to bring in the desired color & option configuration for our daughter to test drive. Bottom-line, a deal was reached for a Santa Fe Sport with the turbo option. We were so impressed with Mr. Cole's integrity and overall approach (including test drives on I-4 at highway speeds and traffic to demonstrate various electronic safety features), that we (Mom and Dad) decided to buy a new Santa Fe Sport (with turbo option) of our own. Once again, Lakeland Hyundai needed to bring in a vehicle) with the desired color & option package. Said vehicle was located at another dealer (not quite 100 miles distant) and was brought in for our evaluation prior to a sale being consummated. Again, the pricing was good and the add-on extended warranty coverage for all the on-board electronics was available and fairly priced. As such. another deal was consummated. Mr. Cole and Lakeland Hyundai are a class act. We took delivery of our new vehicle about a week later. There were a few very minor feature issues that were not provided upon delivery. However. they were corrected in short order with Mr. Cole's providing post-sales support on a subsequent trip back to the dealer All in all, a class act! More
