If I could give them zero I would. It started out ok but then it went downhill from there. One thing I do want to say is Sean the salesman was a pleasure to work with. I had informed them that my brother in law is a general manager at another dealership. Once they gave me the deal, which they claim they couldn’t do anything on price with anything, I sent it to my brother in law to check the deal. My brother in law who works for an auto mall in NJ said they have a sister dealership in Florida. I didn’t know this. So he made a phone call to see what they can do. He called back and said to go there they can save me at least 2k on the truck. Same price same model. At this point the sales manager said and I quote “if you’re going shop another dealership, please sit over there Sean has spent enough time with you”. I said to him excuse me? I told him that my brother in law just told me the deal was garbage to goto his sister dealership. They were charging me $2000 mark up and $2995 of accessories I did not need. He had an attitude and I told the salesman that was dealing with me that I no longer want but the vehicle from here. He said wait one min I’ll be right back. So he comes back and says “he will take $500 off the vehicle for you since you’re upset”. I said to him no thanks I’m outta here. The sales manager saw me leaving and asked me if there is anything else I can do. I told no sir you cannot and your attitude sucks. Going to the other dealership they did not mark the vehicle up, they took $1000 off and gave me the $2995 accessory package for $1995. Same model same package. Oh, by the way, my interest rate was less too. At either dealer I was putting $6000 down and the price was identical to start. Do yourself a favor and don’t go to Lakeland Hyundai. You will get screwed. More
