Lakeland VW service failed me one last time.I have a Lakeland VW service failed me one last time. I have a 2018 Atlas, bought it brand new right after they were released and like all new models this v Lakeland VW service failed me one last time. I have a 2018 Atlas, bought it brand new right after they were released and like all new models this vehicle has had it’s share of problems. I’ve been using Lakeland VW for all my service needs, that is until now. My last visit to Lakeland VW was to repair an ongoing warrantee issue I have with my side mirror adjustment switch, something that failed over a year ago. I’ve had the car in 4 times to repair the problem, every time I’m there I am told another part needs to be ordered and they will call me when the part arrives. Recently I got a call that the part is in and to schedule an appointment, I added an oil change to that appointment as I was coming up on that interval. Upon arriving I was not greeted at my car but instead had to walk in to the office to check in. The service guy, someone I have spoke to in the past about this car, began to ask my why I was there…this was a scheduled visit, I’m on their schedule and in their computer. Okay fine, whatever. After explaining all that I’m there for I hand over the keys and settle in to wait for the oil changed and a wiring harness replacement. Here I would like to mention that Lakeland VW has virtually no comfortable seating at all, they have folding chairs by some vending machines, some hard plastic molded high chairs that look like they’re made for kids, and an outdoor metal picnic table/bench thing. Waiting there basically sucks. After two hours of waiting that same service employee approaches me to say that the service technician recommends wiper blades. I declined as it was raining that day and I was well aware that the blades were working fine. Were they brand new, no…were they serviceable, absolutely. After another hour or more I noticed the car being pulled out of the service bay, to which I asked that same employee that checked me in if that meant my car was done, and he went off to check. Approximately 10 minutes later he did confirm it was ready and he was going to do the paperwork. I gave that 15 more minutes then decided to walk inside to push things along. Matt, the service guy I normally deal with, informed me that the part for the side mirrors was never located, basically wondering why I was called in for that repair. At that point I opted to pay for the 3+ hour oil change and asked if he would just call me once he learned the status of the parts for the mirror repair. Matt emphatically stated he would call me when I asked for a business card so I could call if I didn’t hear anything. That was two days ago, since then no call, nothing. So to recap, an oil change with some topped off fluids and tire rotation cost me $152 and 3 & 1/2 hours of my time. During that uncomfortable wait I was approached about wiper blades that were working fine, but no one thought it important enough to tell me that the part for the mirror was missing, the actual reason I was there to begin with; you know, the part for the mirror switch that hasn’t worked in over a year resulting in my 4th visit to the dealership to repair. And this has been my consistent experience here lately, I drive an hour to Lakeland VW, ostensibly to fix a known warrantee issue that has parts on order, only to be told another part is on order and I will have to return again. There’s no follow through, and I have no reasonable assurance that this problem will ever be solved. I am done with Lakeland VW. One edit, A few hours after listing this review I received two phone calls, one from Matt in service then another from someone whom didn't identify himself (and I didn't ask). Matt was fine, he was apologetic and offered to remedy the situation. I thanked him and declined his offer, again I am done with Lakeland VW. The other call was different. The gentleman stated he didn't know what happened or why the parts weren't in stock but he checked and they are in stock and I could simply drive another hour to get them installed. I again declined and told him I was done, to which he interrupted me and began what seemed like to argue with me. I simply thanked him for his call and hung up. Yeah, he was arguing with me, what the xxxx. No thanks Lakeland VW, never again. More

I stop by twice in a week 1st I got to perform a recall on the vehicle 2nd time battery was low this did not showed on the report that the dealer typically runs to diagnose the vehicle or after my software on the vehicle 2nd time battery was low this did not showed on the report that the dealer typically runs to diagnose the vehicle or after my software recall, most times after a visit I have to return within days because something new is wrong with the vehicle. Attention to detail is very important to me. More
