Lakeland Volkswagen Service Department did an excellent job with some complex repairs on my 2015 Jetta TDI. In addition, I was provided a loaner car, another Jetta, at no charge for several days, as servic job with some complex repairs on my 2015 Jetta TDI. Bought my car brand new from Lakeland VW in 2021 and have never taken it anywhere other than Lakeland VW for service, because I thought that was what would be best to keep my brand new car in the best shape never taken it anywhere other than Lakeland VW for service, because I thought that was what would be best to keep my brand new car in the best shape possible. My husband took it for the most recent oil change and had to sit with my 2 small children in the waiting room for 3 1/2 hours, which was not even the worst part - They informed him that it needs $3,000 worth of immediate repairs, one of which was a $1700 new oil pan because “someone” stripped the oil plug. When my husband asked them to put in a larger bolt so that we wouldn’t have to pay so much, they told him that they don’t carry those, so the only option would be to change the whole oil pan. Once he brought up the fact that the only people who have ever touched the oil pan are the people who work at Lakeland VW, the manager was called and magically they were able to find a larger bolt. I dread going in for my next oil change because the thought of paying $1700 for something THEY broke makes me sick, but I’m also scared to take the car anywhere else, because then Lakeland VW will have someone else to blame the problem on. I have recently moved to the area & this was my first visit at this location for a recurrent ‘check engine light ON’ issue with my Atlas. Fortunately my car is still under warranty.
