I had ordered a Hyundai Santa Cruz with 29,000 miles on it to be shipped to the Lancaster Carmax location for a $99 shipping fee. Carmax had offered me $2500 for my 2013 Tucson with only 65,000 miles on i it to be shipped to the Lancaster Carmax location for a $99 shipping fee. Carmax had offered me $2500 for my 2013 Tucson with only 65,000 miles on it. I thought the offer was low, so I contacted Lancaster Hyundai to see if I could obtain a higher offer. A friendly salesman, Zac Horst, met me at the car and offered $4500 on the spot. I told him the 2023 Santa Cruz that I had ordered from Carmax would be in a few days and he said to bring in my Tucson when I was ready. I was in my car and ready to drive away when I went back inside and asked if there were any Santa Cruz vehicles available. He showed me two 2023 cars with only 10,000 miles on it and the price was only $1000 more than Carmax. Zak informed me about the extended warranty from Lancaster Hyundai that far exceeded the one provided by Carmax. I bought the car. I love my new car (new to me, at least) and would like to recommend Zak and Lancaster Hyundai. Check there first before you shell out a few hundred at Carmax. More
