In February we purchased a new Defender from Land Rover Fort Worth. Our purchase experience under former General Manager Greg Warwick and sales associate Justin Snyder was excellent. What followed was a complete failure by Autobahn Fort Worth to care for our vehicle or take responsibility when things went wrong. We left our vehicle at the dealership for aftermarket paint protection film, contracted through our sales agreement. After two months of repeated installation failures, we discovered cuts through the factory paint on nearly every panel. While discussing where to go from there, Autobahn attempted to repair the damage without telling us or getting our consent. We learned work had begun through the Land Rover app. The attempted repairs were about as successful as the PPF wrap, and left the vehicle with poorly filled paint gouges, dents in the Aluminum driver side door, heavy overspray, heavily uneven texture and cracks in the bumper, just to start. As history repeats itself, Autobahn attempted to fix things again without our knowledge or consent, when the Land Rover app alerted us that the vehicle was moved to Caliber Collision. Two independent collision centers estimate repairs at approximately $30,000. In negotiations with General Manager Daniel Syvrud, his “final offer” was a $1,500 rebate, which he called “twice the actual damage,” despite already having a Caliber estimate that stated otherwise. The dealership later described that offer as “reasonable," which was insulting and a staggering failure of judgment and accountability. We love Land Rover vehicles and the Defender, but Autobahn Fort Worth destroyed our trust. There are plenty of places to buy a Land Rover. I strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere. More
