I am extremely disappointed with the service experience at Land Rover White Plains. On July 2, my vehicle was broken into and the rear passenger window was smashed. I filed a claim with GEICO and brough at Land Rover White Plains. On July 2, my vehicle was broken into and the rear passenger window was smashed. I filed a claim with GEICO and brought the car to the dealership the following day. I was told no loaner vehicles were available until July 28, despite the vehicle being undrivable and this being an unexpected emergency. My husband and I both have Land Rover vehicles and have remained loyal to the brand, so I expected a much higher level of support and communication. My original service advisor, Andre, said I would be placed on a waiting list and contacted by the loaner coordinator, but no one followed up. I later received a text stating that Marco had been assigned as my new advisor, yet I still received no proactive update on the repair. When I called on July 7, Marco told me the glass had only been ordered the previous day and would take at least three business days to arrive. He also explained that I would need to pay out of pocket and seek reimbursement from GEICO, creating further inconvenience. When I expressed frustration about the lack of loaner support and communication, Marco responded, “Well, we didn’t break the glass.” The comment was dismissive and unprofessional. I requested that the matter be escalated to the general manager and asked to be copied on the email, but that never happened. As of July 9, I still have no confirmation that the part has arrived or that the repair will begin, while I continue to incur significant transportation expenses. I had an excellent purchasing experience with my salesperson, Alex, but this service experience has been a poor representation of the Land Rover brand. The lack of communication, follow-through, loaner availability, and professionalism has been unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership. More
