My relationship with Land Rover Tallahassee began in late 2023, when I contacted the dealership regarding a custom Velar build. While the relationship endured serval unfortunate starts and misfires, during the first week of April 2024, on a scheduled visit to the dealership to meet with another Product Specialist, I had a chance encounter with Mr. Griffin Stauffer. Griffin’s amenable personality and overall attentiveness to my vehicle needs, immediately won me over. The following week, I reached out to Griffin to see if he would be willing to work with me to facilitate my build and purchase; he subsequently agreed. I certain neither of us knew what we were getting into! Our April 11, 2024, email exchange began what would become weekly communication about the vehicle and more—a friendship. Griffin’s patience with my indecisiveness and responsiveness to my many questions was certainly beyond the call of duty. His ability to sense what I would want, even before I asked was incredible. As but one example, after my build was complete, he sent me an app, to chart my vehicle’s voyage across the pond. As a testament to Griffin’s genuine good nature, as all of Tallahassee was preparing for the worst from Hurricane Helene, Griff sent a text, just to make sure I was safe. As another example, even after my vehicle arrived at the dealership, Griffin went through great lengths to facilitate additional customizations—even driving the car to multiple businesses and back again—just to ensure everything was complete and that my first look” was a surprise and indeed special.
