Purchase took entirely too long to complete. I found the vehicle I wanted through CarGurus, for a very fair price at this dealership. The only problem was that it was four hours away. I asked about getting it shipped to my home to save me the time and trouble of driving so far during the COVID-19 pandemic lock-down. The dealership seemed to have no interest in helping me to locate an auto transport service, or even provide a guess on what it might cost. After a couple of days of checking out auto transport companies, I determined that my sister and I would just save the extra expense and drive to Joplin and pick up the vehicle ourselves. We notified the dealership on Wednesday that we’d be coming down on Friday, around 1:00 pm. We even called from the road when we were about an hour away to confirm our arrival. It took every bit of three hours to sign papers, hand them a cashiers check for the full selling price, and drive away. It should have taken only thirty minutes maximum to finish the deal and drive away. Everything had been settled over the telephone on Wednesday, including the up-sale of an extended warranty! How freaking long would it have taken if I had made my purchase with a trade-in, to fill out a loan application, and an extended warranty? Inexcusable. More
