Genuinely a zero-star experience with the service department at Landers Kia. Dropped off my car on a Wednesday with a check engine light on and 3:30 p.m. appointment to have it looked at that day. A service aid named Todd said he'd get back to me some time the next day with an update, but stressed that engine issues are hard to timetable without a full diagnosis of the issue. I appreciated his transparency, but that was the last I ever heard from him. Called back Thursday and was told to leave him a message. Called Friday twice and it was the same experience. Finally, called Saturday to no avail and, as someone who needed a mode of transport for their job, decided to buy a new car altogether. Called the following Monday and left another voicemail to say "Please, do not look at my car," and when I followed up the same day on that voicemail, I finally talk to a service rep who tells me my car is now being diagnosed. It's evident the whole department needs a lesson in communication skills. I will never be touching a Kia again. More
Check in and check out was quick and easy. I love that it looks at your tires and if it out of balance when you drive in. We were in this morning to have our 2018 Sportage serviced. We were disappointed that the mandate to wear face masks was not enforced. There was a customer when we entered who never put on a face c serviced. We were disappointed that the mandate to wear face masks was not enforced. There was a customer when we entered who never put on a face covering and was moving around constantly and a few employees who passed through the waiting area without face masks. Thus, based on this we are rating is mixed for this visit. More
Oil change was very quick. The complimentary wash & vacuum wasn’t completed as expected. Upon delivery of vehicle, it wasn’t washed & had to be returned to be washed. Vacuum job was very poor, could ba vacuum wasn’t completed as expected. Upon delivery of vehicle, it wasn’t washed & had to be returned to be washed. This was a re-repair as the first didn't work. They really worked with me! They were kind enough to come get my car so I wouldn't miss a day of work. They stayed in touch with me via text, and even wor really worked with me! They were kind enough to come get my car so I wouldn't miss a day of work. They stayed in touch with me via text, and even worked with me on how to get the payment to them once completed. Sometimes repairs don't work, it's how they resolve the issue that matters. I'm very satisfied. The car was even washed before being returned. More
I wrote the below review, went out to my car, and discovered the turn signal STILL DOESN'T DOESN"T WORK. Plus, they charged me for a bulb when I'd told them the bulb was brand new, although perhaps i discovered the turn signal STILL DOESN'T DOESN"T WORK. If they satisfactorily correct this and deduct what I spent yesterday, I'll update this back to five stars. Mistakes happen, it's how they are corrected which matters. They are taking COVID safety very seriously, and as a high risk person, I thank them. I had a blinker go out and replacing the bulb didn't work. Not having a driver, I told them I'd be forced to wait. I was able to wait in a comfortable chair far away from others. The diagnosis and repair took less than an hour. An employee said they are thoroughly sanitizing every few hours. More

Great customer service!!!!!! Drove in, Melinda was very prompt in greeting me, and checking my Sorento in for Service. Waited in wait area for vehicle to be serviced. When I arrived, a was a little before my appointment time but was taken right in. I was escorted to the waiting area and was kept inform as to the work being performed on my vehicle. I was there about an hour which was surprising to be since there were several things and a recall to be performed on my vehicle. Ryan explained what work had been done and what to expected at my next regularly scheduled visit. He then escorted me to the checkout and waited to take me to my car. It was a very pleasant experience. I trust Steve Lander's employees and have never been disappointed. I love Landers and their expert employees. When I'm ready for a new vehicle or for work to be done to my car, it'll be Landers that does it. Thank you for an overall excellent experience. More
