Service review I gave this rating 3 stars because it was way to expensive, which is typical with dealerships. This is the only complaint that I have. The only employee I have had trouble with is "Johnny" at the Service counter - Telling me he only has one of the cheaper tires for my car, but tries to talk me into a more expensive tire. I told him I would pass. He later comes back and tells me he has found the original less expensive tires in the back if I want them put on. I declined. When he worked at the Ford Dealership that closed in Rogers he billed me 800 for plugs on my pickup and charged me multiple times to hook the vehicle to the diagnostic tool after misdiagnosing the problem multiple times. All the other employees have been great at your dealership. On my recent service appt the service adviser was Drew Parker. I felt he did a very good job. I was in for the 125,000 mile tune up, plugs, oil changes, etc. I was short on cash, so he moved some of the less important scheduled maintenance items to my next visit wich I really appreciated. He also notified me of a recall on an air bag. He was able to have that replaced that the same time. I had some questions on the papers about an alignment issue I had and explained them to me also. I would give him the full 5 stars. It's just the high prices of dealerships that I have problems with, and "Johnny". He also sends texts to customers personal phones asking for good reviews. More

Overall a pleasant experience. More

He told me he was going to call as soon as I left that afternoon. Here it is, 7.8.19 and I still have not heard anything about scheduling an appointment to get my car repaired. Luckily for me, the warranty I purchased with my car allows me to take my vehicle elsewhere to have repairs done. And while it won’t mean anything to the Landers team, this review will be my last interaction with Steve Landers. More
Poorly diagnosed power steering reservoir My son brought the 2005 Toyota Sequoia here after power steering failed. This was the third time the system failed. The first time, the pump was repla My son brought the 2005 Toyota Sequoia here after power steering failed. This was the third time the system failed. The first time, the pump was replaced by non-Toyota, non OEM, then it failed a second time while my son was with us in Rockwall, TX, and we had Toyota of Rockwall replace it with OEM version. (BTW, the repair center that repaired the first time gave us almost all of our money back!). So that was the 2nd repair, done by Toyota of Rockwall. Then when the system failed again (this being the third time), my son happened to be in Arkansas, so brought to Steve Landers, assuming warranty for 1 year. Drew Parker at Landers submitted that it was not the power steering pump, but the reservoir, which was clogged, and needed to be replaced, and the system then flushed. So essentially getting them away from honoring a Toyota service repair of power steering pump by saying it was something else. I pulled my car from them because I figured I should get it back to Toyota of Rockwall, which did the 2nd repair, because Toyota of Rockwall would not agree to the diagnosis from Steve Landers Toyota. I subsequently discovered it was a leak in one of the hoses before I got it into Toyota of Rockwall. Why couldn't Drew figure that out? He wanted to replace something different! It should have been obvious. So when I got it back into Toyota of Rockwall, they confirmed it was a leak in the high pressure line. Anyway, back to my issue with Steve Landers and Drew Parker. Drew Charged me $128 to do *nothing* but misdiagnose the issue. When I spoke with Drew on the line to tell him I was taking the car back to Rockwall and my son would be picking up the car, he hung up on me! Anyway, I subsequently had the high pressure line replaced by a non OEM service center (because Toyota of Rockwall wanted $1600+), and the steering has been working *just fine* with no replacement of the reservoir. Wow! Why don't these service centers have the ability to do a full system level diagnosis accurately? Why guess that it is the pump, or the reservoir, or the high pressure line? Why not make the correct diagnosis and repair the first time? More
10k service great. On arrival for appt was told it was not ordered but a note was in service order to order it due to work I usually need to take a vacation day to get things done I was not happy you need to see where this got missed so it can be prevented from happening again. Your facility has always been great and I have purchased a couple of new cars from you I am not one to write bad reviews and won’t in this case someone just missed something More

Bad service dept My wife took my car in for service on July 3rd. When the service dept took the glove box out to check the cabin air filter they did not reinstall the My wife took my car in for service on July 3rd. When the service dept took the glove box out to check the cabin air filter they did not reinstall the glove box so it will not stay closed. I also noticed the rear driver tire cover was not all the way on. I looked at it and one of the tabs was broken. I would not recommend this service dept to anyone. I have not been back to dealership to get these things corrected yet. More
