Mystery Repairs I went in to get a key reprogrammed and had $1,300 in incremental services recommended. I was told my radiator was leaking and I needed to replace it I went in to get a key reprogrammed and had $1,300 in incremental services recommended. I was told my radiator was leaking and I needed to replace it and have it flushed with coolant to remove buildup. I’m pretty sure if I had them replace the radiator there would be no residue to remove. Since my garage floor is unspotted, we decided to wait and get a second opinion. The mechanic we selected spent several hours trying to find the mysterious leak, but never could. Similarly we were told my brake pads needed to be replaced and rotors turned. Our second opinion mechanic showed my husband the breake pads they estimated still had probably 2 years of pad left. Because I opted for a second opinion we spent $100 instead, which included replacing my headlights, one bulb was out. More
