Not treated fairly We leased a Renegade from Ally Financial through this dealership. At the lease expiration, we went to the dealership to purchase the vehicle for the We leased a Renegade from Ally Financial through this dealership. At the lease expiration, we went to the dealership to purchase the vehicle for the price stated in the lease agreement with Ally. The lease agreement specifically stated that the dealership had to sell us the car for this price and could only add taxes to this amount. Tom Daniel said he intended to add a $599 closing/document fee to the purchase price. We said the lease doesn't allow this and his insistence on this additional fee was wrong. He was rude and refused to sell us the car without this $599 fee. He told us "you don't like it, don't buy the car." We knew he was wrong and we immediately spoke to Ally after paying this fee to buy the car. They confirmed Larry H. Miller Colorado Jeep CANNOT charge anything other than the buyout amount and promptly refunded us $599. Ally intends to back charge the dealership for this amount. We told Tom we would never buy another car from this dealership and we are a committed Jeep family (5 Jeeps bought or leased) and we have relatives working for Chrysler in Detroit. He didn't care one bit. Stay far far away. More
