A Great Experience at Larry H Miller Southwest Hyundai! My wife and I had been looking into several CUVs for the past month and a half. Once we decided to narrow our choice to the Santa Fe Sport, we starte My wife and I had been looking into several CUVs for the past month and a half. Once we decided to narrow our choice to the Santa Fe Sport, we started looking for models we liked all around the southwest (El Paso, Las Cruces, Albuquerque, Phoenix, San Antonio, Dallas). We got some very good deals from a couple of out-of-town dealerships, but not great deals to make us drive to that city. This past weekend, my wife needed to go to Albuquerque for a work meeting. We decided to stop by Larry H Miller Southwest Hyundai and see what they could offer. We found a Santa Fe Sport that my wife loved: 2.0T turbo trim, black exterior, saddle interior, technology package, and many extras included. It tooks us a couple of hours of negotiating, but in the end, David McDowell gave us an amazing deal! It was great enough that I was willing to miss the first half of the Notre Dame football game which had started as we agreed to make the purchase. They were kind enough at Southwest Hyundai to buy my family a pizza while they watched the game and I completed the paperwork. Michael never pressured me to select a vehicle or to make a decision, he was more than willing to let me proceed at my own pace with the selection and purchase. Peter, the sales manager, was helpful in understand the 'numbers' of the purchase, both with and without a trade-in. In general, what I was expecting during this process - having to have my guard up, ready for the 'salesman ship' to kick in to get the deal done - never happened.
