I had to bring my Subaru Outback in because of an oil leak that was going to be covered by the extended warranty. The repair was $4,000 (but covered) on a car that is only 3 years and 2 weeks old and has leak that was going to be covered by the extended warranty. The repair was $4,000 (but covered) on a car that is only 3 years and 2 weeks old and has 50k miles on it. I picked it up after hours and the same warning light that I brought it in for is still on stating 'low oil level'. They had the car for seven days. I'm disappointed that for a $4,000 repair and keeping the car for an entire week that they can't get the problem fixed or were too lazy to reset the 'low oil level' light. So, now I have to drive it all the way back to the service department after work tomorrow. Additionally, they didn't even call when the car was ready; I had to call the service department to ask for an update after 6 days and was told 'Oh yes, the car is ready now.' I would have hoped they would call me since I'd been without my car for almost a week. More
