I went to Bob Baker Toyota a couple of nights ago just to kill some time and really had no intention of buying a car. I was approached by Carlito on the new car lot and upon seeing him approach, I immediate kill some time and really had no intention of buying a car. Much to my surprise, Carlito was laid back and completely want against the stereotypical high pressured car salesman. At the same time, he was extremely helpful and informative. I did not walk out with a car that night, but for various reasons returned over the next two days and drove off with a Toyota Corolla S today. Mario Lupinacci and his staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and that I left as a happy Toyota customer, which I did. I can't say enough about Mario's professionalism and that of his staff. One thing I noticed is that this dealership is trying hard to break the stereotypes associated with new and used car sales, which I appreciated. I would highly recommend Bob Baker Toyota if you are in the market for a new car. More

The staff with their customer service is top notch. Trudy is right on the mark. When I call to schedule maintenance for my car she always remembers who I am & things we have talked about in the past. After having terrible experiences at Mossy and Toyota of San Diego we walked into Bob Baker feeling very defeated. These guys are amazing. The other places jerked us around and we will be rating them as well. These guys were great. We bought a car there years ago and I can't remember why we didn't go back there first but we will next time. Great follow up as well. The finance guy was awesome too (I can't recall his name, but he was efficient and to the point). I have told everyone how great Bob Baker Toyota is, and I hope they get more business because of it. He offered me a RAV 4 that was on the lot for a very excellent price. This vehicle had everything I wanted and more, however the color was not right for me, so I did not buy that day. Ernie Palmejar explained that he could probably locate the exact color and leather combination that I wanted and offered me a great price. My wife and I decided to try the other dealers in town and see if we could find the right car ourselves... Too make a long story short... the other dealers made lots of promises but could not deliver the exact car we wanted at a fair price. I was very frustrated and felt that I had wasted a lot of time on false promises. I called Ernie the following Tuesday @ 2 pm and told him I was ready to buy. He He located a RAV 4 at a distant dealership, drove it, and personally had it ready for me @ 8 pm that evening. Virgil reviewed my credit application, explained all the paperwork, and got me an exellent loan rate. The entire experience was efficient, courteous, and professional. I went to this dealership because of its proximity to my home. I wanted to explore Bob Baker’s USED CAR options and possibly trade in my older Ford Windstar for a newer Toyota equivalent since Ford no longe home. I wanted to explore Bob Baker’s USED CAR options and possibly trade in my older Ford Windstar for a newer Toyota equivalent since Ford no longer makes mini-vans. I never expected to walk out with a 2011 Toyota Sienna but the deal I was offered surpassed my expectations. I received a fair trade-in for my vehicle and a deal on a lease that I couldn't resist. The salespeople, Richard Daverman, and Paul Sphabmixay were upbeat, helpful, and actually fun to work with. Imagine! Tracy handled my paperwork and she did it with grace and professionalism and the entire process, start to finish, was hassle-free. Three cups of coffee and a dozen laughs later, I walked out with a shiny new van. Everything in life should be so effortless.
