I appreciated the apology, however, don't you think that contacting me 7 months later--is kind of, well, you know, L--A--T--E????? I don't normally, keep my newspapers that long, but thanks for asking. I am extremely happy with the new car that I purchased from Szotts Ford, perhaps, had you contacted me 7 months earlier, I may have changed my mind on where I purchased my car.

Well since it is almost a year later there isn't much that can be done at this point I don't think. It would have been nice if someone tried to help me out back in November when your salesman messed up and I was stuck with a car that had a lot of issues and was not the car that I had test drove and thought I was buying.

Only current issue is customer not making payments on the vehicle. We gave them the vehicle back and now afterwards they have stopped payments again after promissing to pay. Nothing can really be done at this point since the customer is in breach of contract. We tried to help several times.

"We gave them the vehicle back..." uh... they never "took" the vehicle. And like I said, 11 days late and they are acting like I haven't paid in months. The only "help" they've offered is threatening phone calls. And none of this addresses the fact that they sell garbage cars off their lot.

I feel bad you feel this way but obviously since the first time we are hearing about the condition of the vehicle the real issue is apparantly the inability to make the payments timely. We do offer vehicles for everyone's credit situation. As you stated you understood the vehicle had a couple imperfections when you purchased the vehicle that you were ok with. As any lending institution, interest rates are dictated by a consumers credit worthiness. If you make on time payments and increase your credit score you will be in a better financing situation in the future.

I haven't brought up the condition of the vehicle cause you people know already. And you would do nothing, or atleast nothing that wouldn't cost me more money. You take advantage of people. Period. Charging ridiculously unfair interest rates has nothing to do with a person's credit worthy-ness. You and all the other bank systems can look up the terms you use, and pick better ones to not reflect your ignorance. The real issue, is that you are a horrible, unethical, trashy company. I said right in the review that my payment was late! So what exactly are you trying to point out? You are a company that threatens repossession after being 11 days late. And many many people would like to know this fact.

The customer purchased a vehicle which listed an added accessory package for $1174 which was included in the price that the customer agreed to. When discovered that indeed the vehicle did not in fact include those accessories, the dealer promptly and without dispute agreed to refund the customers money. Any delay in the sales process was directly related to the customer's desire to negotiate.

I appreciate the refund and will give you the benefit of the doubt on the error. I do take exception to the length of time the transaction took. There were no "negotiations" when I can back the second time. I repeatedly told Chris that I did not have time to waste and that was the hole reason for establishing the terms of the deal with Dan before I came in, which we did. Your sales process is unecessarily lengthy and there were no negotiations once I came back to purchase the truck. The pricing for the truck (Xplan) is fixed and the trade allowance was already established with Dan. Nothing changed from that phone call. I told Chris when I was coming in and showed up at that time. I spent most of the 3 hours waiting first for Dan and then the business manager. I have purchased 3 cars from Lasco in the last 18 months and many cars from other dealers over the years. No where else is the process so vague and lengthy. I do not fault Chris, it is the way you conduct business. Regards Brad Schmidt

My car gas gage is broken and my wheel ball joint is about to break and I brought all this up before I purchased the car and was told that the car was inspected again and nothing was wrong with those things. I spent four hours and took a day off of work for nothing to b done about my car issues today. I was told by Steve zidell to bring my car in and they would take care of the problem. But all I got was lies and fast talk and a estimate of almost 900 dollars to fix things that should have repaired before purchase of the car. I took my sales persons word that the car was checked out after I mentioned my concerns and there were no problems with the car. I even have two witnesses to what was discussed and promised to me by my sales person Steve Zittel before I purchased the car. I'm very upset and disappointed with this whole situation.
