My experience with Lebanon Ford and their 727 LFP Mustang In early May 2016 a buddy of mine sent me a link to an Article appearing in Road and Track about Lebanon Ford in Ohio selling a 727 HP Roush S/C Musta In early May 2016 a buddy of mine sent me a link to an Article appearing in Road and Track about Lebanon Ford in Ohio selling a 727 HP Roush S/C Mustang. At the time I currently owned a 2013 GT PP N/A and I also own a 2016 Explorer Sport(wife's) I wanted more so I jumped at the chance and called and went through the process. The people at Lebanon Ford were awesome, so I believed. They helped me with my build every step of the way. I added springs, cf one piece drive shaft, steeda stop the hop kit, xpipe and Roush exhaust. In all I spent about 52k. On the day of pick-up, someone made an error and gave me the incorrect total after multiple assurances of the bottom line. They installed everything and short themselves about $1200. I was not obligated to pay but soo happy with the car and service I did. Fast forward to 2017. With 2700 miles on the clock, my clutch began to slip with rpm greater than 4500. Then, the burnt smell persisted. So I was okay, hmmm, time for an upgraded clutch. Please note, I do not race or track this car. It lived in my garage for the entire winter. Knowing that I do not have any drivetrain warranty I did my research per American Muscle who I have bought all things mustang from, they have always been awesome to deal with, and purchased a McLeod RXT twin disc clutch and lightened flywheel. I had asked the guys at Lebanon Ford to quote me for same and they did, but given their distance from me, I felt that it was better for me to get the best performance shop in my area to do it. The shop works on all high end American Muscle and Japanese performance. I saw corvettes, GTR, Dodge Viper... They installed the RXT for me. After 150 miles into break-in I got check engine light. Took it back to them and they recommended taking to dealer for crank sensor relearn as they did not have the propietary software to do some. I took it to Currie Ford Motor/a Roush Certified dealer and after 10 days they said it was the clutch. McLeod says absolutely not the clutch. So I contacted Lebanon, explained the situation and they agreed for me to send it there for them so sort it out. After shipping it to them $600, they did their diagnostics and said it was the plugs. I called Currie Ford and the Mechanic and Manager said that was nonsense because they checked all of that. At this point I am like whatever it takes to fix my car. So I asked Lebanon Ford to MAKE SURE THAT THE CAR IS FIXED and to NOT let me ship it back to myself. They assured me, that in 30 mins they diagnosed the problem and it was the plug because the bag plug followed the misfiring cylinder and the car is FIXED. They shipped the car back to me. After 150 miles my CEL came back on and I ran the diag myself. P0300. At this point I am over $5000 in the hole and my car with only 3300 miles on the clock has an issue that 2 Roush certified dealerships could not fix. So now, I am frustrated and hurt because neither Roush nor Lebanon Ford is willing to take this car and make tings right for me. I must keep spending money until it is fixed with no guarantee that they will find the issue. Lebanon ford said that they would give me $400 credit towards placing a stock clutch and flywheel back into the car , a cost of $1400 - 400= $1000 plus 600 in shipping, more out of my pocket because yes I have no warranty getting the 727. I asked about trade in, they told me that I could get maybe 34000 for it.. a loss of $20000... all with repeatedly telling me that they are trying to help me. When I told them that this situation has not worked out for me and that I would go online to express my experience, the manager accused me of and I quote "I can go and slander" them. So what is the bottom line.... I own a modified car and am stuck with an issue that nobody has been able to fix and the money is hemorrhaging. The dealership has great people and I do believe they are definitely one of the best in my experience, but when it comes down to taking one for the team to take care of a customer, they are like the rest, protect our bottom line even though I am maybe 1 of 4 with this issue. My conclusion for anyone going to buy from them, buy the 670 with the warranty and READ THE FINE PRINT...EVERYONE is always happy to take your money and Wave goodbye but once an issue comes... tough luck man... but hey... we are here for you... buyer beware, DO NOT BUY THEIR 727 BUILD. no warranty and they will NOT do right by you after an issue arises. Sure there are many LFP 727s doing well.... mine did not and I got screwed... this is what happens when a dealership is making soo much money they stop caring about what got them there... the customer... good luck. My new truck After searching the dealers in the Dayton area I made my way to Lebanon Ford & met Charlie. I had every intention to buy a 2014 Ford F150 STX, which we looked at. I was looking at this truck because I new what I could afford to pay & needless to say the 2017 was WAY out of my range. But after talking to Charlie we decided to take the 2017 for a test drive, knowing that I could not afford it I figured I may as well have a little fun driving a new truck. However once we arrived back at the dealership Charlie decided to show me some other options. After sitting down & talking about the pros & cons of the 2014 versus the 2017, Charlie then dropped the bombshell on me......the 2017 F 150 XLT would be a lower payment than the 2014 based on the available discounts, money down & the lease. So long story short, Charlie & Lebanon Ford took the time to show me I had so many more options that what I had been told at other dealerships. He took the time to show me I could afford the new truck & did not have to settle on the used vehicle, unlike some other dealerships I had visited. I can say that Charlie & Lebanon Ford has a customer for life & will refer any one looking for a new vehicle to them. They are a class act and care more about the person that the commission. Thanks again to Charlie & all the fine folks at Lebanon Ford!!! 5 star service all the way More
