I always buy used cars and are picky about options, miles, color, etc. I use the internet to identify all the cars that meet my requirements. I do not live in Ohio but found a used truck that fit my r miles, color, etc. I use the internet to identify all the cars that meet my requirements. I do not live in Ohio but found a used truck that fit my requirements on AutoTrader.com, which was listed by Lebanon Ford. I then found the vehicle listed on Lebanon Ford's website, called, and talked to Brant Benson. He was curtious and attentive at first, but that changed quickly. I requested a picture of the vehicle (no pictures had been uploaded yet) and he informed me that they had just taken it in on trade and it was awaiting their detail shop, and would have good photos in a day or two. I told him that I'd like to start running some numbers and was planning to make the 400 mile trip to Ohio the following week to secure the deal, pending inspection and test drive. I asked if he could evaluate my trade-in and give me an idea of value. He said 'sure', and I sent many photos of the car. I called two days later to inquire about the photos and my trade appraisal and he indicated "we've been very busy, we sold 20 cars over the holiday weekend" (like I care). Two days later and I still haven't heard from him. I called back to see where we were at, and he said again 'we've been really busy but the truck should be out of the detail shop today and I'll have pictures shortly". Two more days go by and I haven't heard from him. In the meantime, the advertised price on AutoTrader for this truck increases $1,000. I did have an email from him early on, telling me he would sell it for $19,900. I call again (stupid me) and told him to work up a proposal reflecting my trade, the sell price, tax, etc, so we could actually start negotiating. I'm already into the following week from when I had planned to drive down and purchase it. He starts the conversation by telling me the new price of $20,900, which I quickly reminded him of the earlier email. He then tells me that the reason the truck STILL hadn't been through their detail shop (needed before photos could be taken) was because they were waiting on a part, and after two weeks of this I can't believe their communication is so bad that he couldn't have found this out by now. He tells me again that he'll start working on a proposal, and will call me back within that day. That was a week ago and I still haven't heard from him. Total calls to him from me: At least 10 Total emails to him from me: At least 5 Total times he called me: 2 Total times he returned my emails: 2 or 3. Total number of days I wasted thinking I could actually buy something from them: 18 Bottom line is 1) I almost begged him to sell me this truck. What does a person have to do to be a customer? He/they are too busy. FAIL 2) Follow-up, setting expectations, meeting commitments and customer respect: FAIL 3) anyone who walks into the dealership is more important than internet buyers. 4) They don't appear to have any internal communication, nor care to. FAIL By the way, I started my search all over again for this truck. Found one even further away, called that dealer at 10am, and by 3pm the purchase was complete. Drove 500 miles the next day to pick it up. THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE! More

The customer service Charlie provided was excellent! Every question I had about the car he could answer and if he couldn't he would go out of his way to get me the answer ASAP. When he got an update about the cars status he would call or email me. When I emailed him a question he was always fast to reply. Couldn't have had a better experience with a salesman. The quality of work Roush did on the car was amazing. For such a modified car everything fits together perfectly. I could tell the other Roush components added to the car were really thought about very thoroughly to provide the car with a complete package. The friendliness was great. The best part was working with someone who was passionate, knowledgeable, and just all around loved what he was doing. I think he was as excited about the car as I was which added a lot to the buying experience. Overall experience was great. I got the car I wanted and couldn't be any happier. For the price, you get what you pay for and I thought the price on my car was very good for all the extras I received. More
