Slimey car dealership! Sold me a car that’s transmission started slipping as soon as I got onto 75. They said they’d make it right. I guess that means keeping my car for weeks on end just to not fix it and tell me to go pay out of pocket elsewhere. I’ve literally had the car 2 weeks out of the 2 months I’ve owned it. The Chevy dealership is replacing the transmission as well as the ac compressor. The car is junk after being told how great it was of a buy. The financing practices were also ridiculous. ZERO mention of thousands of fees. My $9k purchase ended up being $17k. (Yes I bought a $3600 warranty, but the other 5k junk fees) they use the four square method which is practically illegal or at least a known shady practice. 0 stars. Buyer beware. More
I came to this dealership to check out a car they had listed for $6,000. Everything seemed friendly up front, but once we got into the paperwork, the price had magically jumped to $6,500 — a $500 increas listed for $6,000. Then came the junk fees: • $899 Dealer Service Fee – pure dealer profit, disguised as a “service.” • $499 Electronic Transfer Fee – grossly inflated; DMV filing is cheap. • $199 Tag Agency Fee – padded fee for something that should cost a fraction. That’s $1,597 in bogus fees, on top of the $500 upcharge — meaning the total cost jumped over $2,000 more than expected. If I hadn’t been closely reviewing the paperwork, I might have missed all of this. People who aren’t mechanically inclined or familiar with car buying could easily fall into this trap. If a dealership can’t be transparent about pricing to your face, just imagine how they might hide issues with the vehicle itself. Be careful. Check everything. Don’t be afraid to walk out. More
