My girlfriend, Jill had been driving a 2000 Jeep for years and had accumulated 179,000 miles. I wanted to get her into something newer. She liked the Jeep, so we figured we'd stay with the brand and started looking around. I researched the used Jeep market for weeks and rated hundreds of them on line and many at dealers. Our search took us to Lee in Westbrook, Maine, as it was close to where Jill lives. We were greeted by Bill Wheaton and the two of us got along great from the start. We loved an 09 Overland, but it was a little more than we wanted to spend. Bill was easy work with and showed us several other choices. It was getting late and we had a diiner to get to, so we said goodbye. All we could think about was that Overland. Bill called the next day and said he thought he could get us into the Jeep of our dreams. We went back down and I was amazed that between lowering the cost and their creative finance team, they made it possible. They even got us a very good finance rate with a reputable bank. The price was the best I had seen in all my research. Jill is thrilled and I am happy to have her in a safe, reliable vehicle. I feel I have made a new friend in Bill and will surely go back to Lee for all our service, parts, accessories, and, when the time comes, another vehicle. More
When we walked we were greeted immediatley. Dan was our sales person, very friendly and out going. He did a great job of finding what type of vechile I was looking for, including showing me a vechile with sales person, very friendly and out going. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and out going. We went late in the afternoon, so they were unable to clean the car before I left, but gave a me voucher to have it cleaned and a full tank of gas. Great service overall, and a nice selection of vechiles to choose from. More
Excellent customer service. Bought a used Dodge for a great price. Noticed the window did not work, so they took it in a nd replaced the part, under warranty. Also had the check engine light come on, t great price. Noticed the window did not work, so they took it in a nd replaced the part, under warranty. Also had the check engine light come on, they fixed it under warranty. Light came back on, and I did not want to drive back 2hrs to Westbrook for a second trip, so they let me take it to my local Dodge dealer to have it fixed. They paid for the repairs and I did not have to drive back down. They are very reasonable and easy to work with. Willing to stand behind want they sell even if it was used and not their fault. Would reccomend them to anyone. More

I bought the 2004 brand new at Lee and had all service completed there. Service was always good and I continually received service reminders and discount coupons in the mail and via e-mail. David was an excellent salesman and a pleasure to work with. I did not feel pressured and he did well to get the payment to where I needed it to be. I would recommend David as a salesman to anyone looking for a vehicle. More

I have been purchasing my own cars as an adult woman since my first car in 1973. These purchases have always been in Maine. This was not my first time buying a car from Lee Auto Mall in Westbrook. Years ago I owned a Jeep Cherokee which my children thought at the time was the coolest car I owned -- probably still do. It was gun metal grey and four-wheel drive. My experience then with both sales and service was quite good. I remember the service as being quick and responsive to what I needed or asked for. I have been in the market for a smaller car for the last few months and had test driven a few of the cars in my size requirement. The day before I went in to Lee Auto Mall, I had been down the street to look at a Ford Fusion. The salesman there was pretty bad. He shoved me out the door because the pizza had been delivered for lunch. Seriously. When I came into Lee, Josh greeted me and first, was very respectful, which I look for as a woman. He listened carefully to what I needed and I think he would have taken me for several more test drives if I had wanted. I was not necessarily planning to purchase that day (good sales techniques, Josh). His approach was polite, friendly and never condescending. In addition, he was very knowledgeable about all the cars we looked at, including the one I eventually purchased. I have a progressive tendonitus condition that because I don't look old, is sometimes hard for others to comprehend. He got it. During our negotiation he kept his cool but again, friendly and accomodating. The car I bought was a Dodge Caliber 2011. Since I purchased the car, he has helped me a few times, figure out how to work things. Not only is Josh a great sales person, he is just a great young person. I would think he would be very successful with older ladies like myself. He makes me want to bake cookies and bring them by the shop. PS my 24 year old daughter loves the car and since it is better in the snow than her car, I have let her borrow it a few times during recent storms. Great job Josh. Suzi Benoit Portland Maine More

When my husband and I determined we needed a new car, we cringed. We hate dealing with sales people and we weren't sure we'd qualify anyway since my husband had recently been laid off. We were not in the mood to be over-sold or treated like we were stupid, or worse, made to feel embarressed if we wouldn't qualify. I had heard nothing but good things about Mike Marsh from Lee and we called him straight away. Mike was like nothing I had ever experienced. He was kind, patient, dilligent. . .not like any car salesman I'd worked with anywhere! He listened to our needs, he called us with updates on information he found out for us, and he never tried to put us in something we didn't want or weren't sure we could afford. He worked with their finance department for us, before we ever closed the sale, so that our financing would be taken care of without a hassle. I don't remember the name of the gentleman we worked with in the finance department, but he was also a complete gentleman. In one day we were in a Jeep that we really loved, at a price we could afford, and we always felt respected and valued. As long as Mike Marsh is selling cars, I will never buy from anyone but him!
