Ed Ditmeier was a fantastic partner for me while buying my latest vehicle. He took the time to understand what I needed, rather than just going for a quick sell. I ended up with a fantastic vehicle at a my latest vehicle. He took the time to understand what I needed, rather than just going for a quick sell. A week later, we realized that the dealership accidentally gave us a secondary key fab that didn't work, and Ed took care of everything to make it right. Was told car was "thoroughly gone over" and wouldn't be on lot otherwise. Only to find after driving 20 miles the brakes had a problem. Found out that the wheels had hub locks and no key - so i wouldn't be on lot otherwise. Only to find after driving 20 miles the brakes had a problem. Found out that the wheels had hub locks and no key - so it was impossible for them to have inspected the brakes as told. When followed up was told our guys "drove" the car and didn't find any problems with brakes (a far cry from thoroughly gone over!). They "fixed" the brakes and when we got home the brakes were still hot and we ended up replacing the brake line and cleaned the rotor that should have been replaced and cleaned if the repair would have been done properly. The tires showed normal wear but what wasn't "inspected thoroughly" was the inside of the rear tires had 3 six inch cracks making it dangerous to drive. I have no problem with replacing brakes and tires on a used car the problem lies in the fact we were told it had been gone over and was good to go. More
