Bought 2018 used Nissan Rogue. Ed Jeffries was patient, friendly, and listened to our needs and concerns as we shopped for and compared same-type SUV's. We visited several dealersh Ed Jeffries was patient, friendly, and listened to our needs and concerns as we shopped for and compared same-type SUV's. We visited several dealerships, considering late model, low mileage SUVs, comparing the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V and Nissan Rogue. We test-drove the Rogue twice with Ed Jeffries and had a good experience both times. We did not feel undue pressure to buy the Rogue. After comparing the 3 vehicles, prices, and our experiences with the salesmen, we concluded that our money was best spent on the Rogue. We came back to your dealership a third time, and made an offer which was accepted. Mr. Jeffries was very professional and a pleasure to work with. We were escorted to Finance and spoke with Doug Anderson. His demeanor was friendly and professional until we declined purchasing any of the extra extended warranty plans. After we declined, his attitude and demeanor changed instantly and dramatically. He said "OK - if you don't want to save money, it's no skin off my back, I get paid a salary too!" He also belittled our banking institution and the extended warranties they sell. The warranty plans he vehemently told us we should choose from increased our total price by approximately, $3,000-$5,000 (adding 16-25% more to the total cost of the vehicle with added fees). He became very agitated when we told him we could get an extended warranty comparable to the dealer warranty we were offered. In our opinion, he couldn't seem to properly justify the cost in terms of what we were getting. It wasn't so much his words that were offensive, but his tone and the manner in which he said them. He couldn't even remember what name I go by. Every time he called me by name he got it wrong, only once getting it correct. Mr. Anderson's mannerisms and attitude almost made us consider leaving without buying the vehicle. The professionalism of Ed Jeffries in establishing trust and rapport with us kept your dealership from losing a sale. Bottom line: We would definitely recommend Mr. Jeffries to everyone we know, but we would tell them to avoid Mr. Anderson when they go to the Finance area. Because of our less-than-desired experience with Mr. Anderson, our ratings below are 4 stars instead of 5. More
