Excellent customer service all around from ordering the vehicle to its delivery. Only complaint is that upon delivery, the navigation computer module in the new vehicle did not work, and it's going to tak vehicle to its delivery. My review is long, so if you don’t want to read it all, I just purchased a new truck from Leif Johnson Ford. I found them knowledgeable, honest, helpful and transparent about prices and all expectations. just purchased a new truck from Leif Johnson Ford. I met with salesmen at Leif Johnson and their two competitors in Austin to get a feeling for the people and the dealerships before placing an order for my 2022 Ford Maverick. I hoped I'd like the dealer within walking distance, but they seemed indifferent and I was not comfortable with them. I genuinely liked and trusted the folks I worked with placing my order, Salesman Jeremy Brumley.and New Car Manager Shannon Mabry. They were transparent about price, including all fees, and gave me paperwork documenting everything I should expect. They did an efficient job getting my order placed correctly, and I got a confirmation email from Ford later the same day. I wanted to make one change to add safety features, and they handled this by email the same day, sending me a revised cost breakdown. During the months of Ford scheduling and production, my salesman moved to a sister dealership, and I was reassigned to Aaron Porter. I found him to be an honest and helpful salesman. I had ordered my truck sight unseen, so I asked to be informed if they got any in, and they did let me know when Ford sent one to the dealer for training so that I could see it. When I took delivery on January 3rd, they had my paperwork ready, but made quick adjustments to the price to account for a Ford discount certificate I had brought. I was offered Warranty and Service deals, but felt no pressure to add them. Happily, there were no surprises and this has been a smooth and enjoyable experience. So far, I love my truck, and I am very happy with Leif Johnson Ford. While I may seem overly enthusiastic, I had been following the experiences of others who ordered this truck on forums, and saw how many had bad experiences with dealers who made a mistake with their order so that they had to take what arrived or start over, surprised them at delivery with price increases due to 'market adjustments', or added unwanted dealer-installed add-ons that they expected them to pay for. I am very thankful to have chosen a dealer that was totally honest and transparent and provided me with documentation at the outset that allowed me peace of mind during my months of waiting. I highly recommend this dealership. More
