I bought an F150 from this dealership's Ben White location on June 24th. Everything went well with the sale but unfortunately not so well after the sale. When I purchased the vehicle, the deale location on June 24th. Everything went well with the sale but unfortunately not so well after the sale. When I purchased the vehicle, the dealership agreed to make a repair on a cracked plastic bumper guard. They also stated that there was a recall repair yet to be completed and that they would take care of that as well. I also asked if they would be able to give me the code to the keypad lock on the door. They said yes. I dropped the vehicle off a couple weeks later after I had to follow up about the repairs as I heard nothing back from them after the purchase. The mechanic replaced the bumper guard, but had no clue about the recall repair mentioned during the sale of the truck and said they couldn't do that there anyway. At this point I didn't bother asking about the door code. That same day I called the person who sold me the car. I asked if there was an additional key as I was only given ONE with the vehicle. A $25,000 used vehicle and ONE key. The reason I need my second key is because I set up the MyKey feature and unknowingly activated restrictions that prevent me from listening to certain radio stations, limit my speed, mutes the audio if my seatbelt is unlocked, etc. etc. I asked the salesman how we could resolve this issue as I really should have been given two keys to begin with. I had no clue before signing the contract I would only be given one key because they don't give it to you until you purchase the vehicle. If I had known I would have asked for another before signing. At the very least, I asked if they could reset the key I have so I can turn off the restrictions the MyKey feature activated. The salesman said he'd call me back. I never heard back. The second the sale was complete, they started dropping the ball. Now I have to spend $400 on a new key because this dealership was too cheap to give the two I SHOULD have been given after spending 25k on a truck. Shop somewhere else, this place is not worth the hassle and dishonesty. More
