I’m giving you 5 stars because of Linda Framel. She kept me informed as to the progress of my vehicle even though she was super busy. She wasn’t pushy and she was professional. I made an appointment at 9:15 a. m on 4/16/22 to have my tires check at Cerritos Lexus. I was told the guy that would be helping me was named Daniel. I explained to Daniel I had just m on 4/16/22 to have my tires check at Cerritos Lexus. I was told the guy that would be helping me was named Daniel. I explained to Daniel I had just purchased the tires a couple of months ago and I thought I had a warranty. Daniel took a few minutes looking at the tires and found nails in two of them. He then tells me they are not covered under the warranty and that I “must have drove through a construction site”. He said it would be about $600 to replace the two tires. I told Daniel I would shop around for tires and he said I should check back with them because they price match. I spent the next two hours driving around to get the tire replaced only to have to return to the dealer because I did not have the tire lock. I decide to question Daniel about his suggestion of replacing the tires, since the other tire shop said I could patch the tires. The service area workers knew immediately I was returning from earlier in the morning and told me to see the same adviser. When Daniel notice I returned he immediately left for lunch, so I spoke with the service manager. Sonia, the service manager reviewed my account and told me my tires are under warranty. She immediately took my car in for repair. I appreciate how she handle the situation but I still have an issue. I’m a single woman that brings my car to Lexus because I trusted I would get honest advice on maintaining my car. I no longer feel like Lexus of Cerritos can be trusted. If it wasn’t for my need to return for a tire lock, I would have paid another shop to repair the tires or paid Lexus for new tires that was covered by warranty. I feel like Daniel tried to take advantage of me. He was more than willing to charge me for new tires. More
