He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The decision to buy my car from Lexus of Clearwater was not difficult because the atmosphere and the people made it very easy. I was going to just start my shopping and I was going to a few other dealerships, I never made it to another dealer. I was so satisfied and the experience was so pleasant I saw no reason to take my business elsewhere. I also loved the Lexus ES350! How could I not??? My final experience was with Saide (sp), the General Manager. Saide finalized the spirit I saw and felt of gratitude and respect. My parents bought their Lexus at Lexus and Clearwater and have always raved about their experience, and it most certainly held true. This is my third new Lexus I have purchased from this dealership. Overall they make the experiance relaxing and provide a luxury car experiance. His demeanor, product knowledge, and no-rush attitude were major factors in determining the purchase of the Lexus ES 350. Even after the "paper" work was "signed and sealed", he continued to be helpful and patient in the instructional, teaching mode for the car. A true gentleman and an excellent sales representative. Want to give a huge shout out to Service Advisor Mark Niquette. We have a 2006 RX330. Every service since it was new we complained about intermittent problems with the rear hatch. No one seemed to be Niquette. We have a 2006 RX330. Every service since it was new we complained about intermittent problems with the rear hatch. No one seemed to be able to do anything about it. Was a very frustrating disappointment for us. Recently (July 2013), we took the car in for service, with almost 6 years and 31,000 miles on it. Again we complained about the problems with the hatch. The service department told us it was a bad battery in the key fob, replaced the battery and sent us on our way. Needless to say, that didn't fix it. It failed when we tried it at pickup. We left the car with Lexus of Clearwater and after more investigation were told it needed new struts, at a cost to us of $684.00. I explained to Mark how many times we had asked for this to be repaired while the car was under warranty and asked him to go to bat for us. HOMERUN. Lexus agreed to pay for the entire repair. We picked up the car, drove it home, and the next day still had the same problem. Another call to Mark got us a free loaner car delivered to our house. LOC kept the RX for a few more days, did some more repairs, and didn't charge us anything. After we got the car back and have given it a few days of use, we have had no problems with the hatch. I can't say how much we appreciate the effort Mark put out on our behalf. He stuck with us until he solved our problem. Something no one else had done before. THANKS AGAIN, MARK. Well done! More
