He was personable and friendly, without being pushy! Doug was very knowledgeable about the cars and their options and took his time in showing us how things worked. Initially, we didn't find exactly what we were looking for, but Doug worked hard to locate an SUV that would meet our needs. Of course Doug found the perfect car for us and we knew that he worked out a really fair deal on the price. Buying a Lexus from Scanlon Lexus of Fort Myers was the best car buying experience we have ever had. Our salesman, Wagner Brenes knew everything there is to knew about the Lexus ES 350 and was more than best car buying experience we have ever had. We visited the showroom several times before making our decision. We never felt pressured, only welcomed. Put away your thoughts of a 'used car salesman' - as Doug is the BEST! I had been looking for a few months for a very specific Lexus model/features. From the very first moment (now remember I was having to do this on the phone), Doug was very comfortable with which to work, diligent in his care to properly describe the car's features, and within 10 minutes had taken my verbal offer and received approval! This transaction was super smooth, and even when I arrived to pick up the car (Doug even picked me up at the airport as I live a 6 hour drive away), Doug worked quickly to get me into my new car and on the road fast. We went in the next day to see the suv. Doug worked with us and was very helpful in answering questions. We could tell right away that this would be a much different experience from the honda dealership. Doug went out of his way to help us feel comfortable and was not pushy. He took his time and was very professional. If you are looking for a new or used car, take a look at Scanlon Lexus. Its obvious that they put a lot of value on customer service, which is lost on some dealerships. We ended up purchasing and are very happy with our new (to us) Pilot. Had received a call that Lexus was offering early turn in of our leased Lexus. Started us thinking about a new car. Visited several other brand dealerships. We have been dealing with Scanlon since moving to Fl in 2007 and was very pleased with the service dep't. My husband was having Dental Surgery in the area of Scanlon and I was killing time. Needed the car washed, so I went over to the dealership. While waiting for the car to be washed, I met Mark, nice guy, who introduced me to Ray Mathews. What a great guy. Has the patience of a "SAINT". Low keyed, extremely knowledgeable and a genuinely nice guy. He knew we were only interested in the RX350. Only one color appealed to me (Claret). They had 2 on the lot , both fully loaded and more than we wanted to spend. I told Ray that was the only car I would consider. Long story short, Ray & Mark made me an offer I could not refuse. It was the last day of the promotion. So, a deal was made. My husband kids me now that he hopes he does not need anymore dental surgery! More
