The salesman, Justin was excellent. We came to an agreement that I would finance about 30% of the car price in return for a small discount and I told him the exact amount I intended to We came to an agreement that I would finance about 30% of the car price in return for a small discount and I told him the exact amount I intended to pay that day. After waiting for about an hour, I was led into Ms. Henderson's office. Right away, for a full hour, she tried to sell me a warranty that I refused repeatedly. In the end, she got very mad and berated me for my poor judgment, telling me that I didn’t know what was good for me and that I was being stupid and irresponsible for not wanting to save money, etc. Then she angrily scrolled through a few screens and asked me to sign electronically. Anytime I asked what I was signing, she answered that I would get a paper copy, that nothing would be hidden and moved on to the next screen. She never mentioned neither the amount to be financed, nor the interest rate. When I was done signing, I told her that I needed to get my checkbook for the down payment; she answered that she had given me a loan with a 0% downpayment because I had a good credit score. I was livid but I had already signed and was too tired to argue any more. (I arrived at the dealership at 10:00 am and it was about 3:00 pm at that time). To summarize, she conned me, against my will, into financing the whole price of the car in order to charge me a huge interest. The next day, I talked to a manager who apologized for her behavior, but informed me that he couldn’t do anything about the financing because it already went through, and advised me to pay off the loan when I got the bank papers in the mail. (Of course with a month interest on the whole amount). In short, I was humiliated and cheated by a greedy person who was trying to charge me about $12 000 in return for a $500 discount! More
