So long story short. This place sucks!!! I called to inquire about 2023 RX500H , i was simply curious if i would be able to pre-order one. Salesman told me he wasn't sur This place sucks!!! I called to inquire about 2023 RX500H , i was simply curious if i would be able to pre-order one. Salesman told me he wasn't sure and he would have manager call me back. About an hour later manager called back , he advised me that he has 3 of them en route but no dealer can pre-order new Lexus anymore. No problem , i asked if incoming vehicles would be sold at MSRP or dealer mark up would be applied. He laughed at me , said it would be 15k over and when i thanked him for his time he said peace!!! I mean i get it , dealers are taking advantage or current vehicle market but when it became normal to treat customers like crap and laugh at them. I will never step my foot into this place again in my life , i will never bring my 22 RX350 for service there and will drive extra 15 miles to a different dealer. Peace to you Lexus of Milwaukee! PS: General manager Malik is actually and really nice guy , i may deal with this dealer but only if he's involved. More
I recently purchased a 2017 Ford Edge from Lexus of Milwaukee on 11-14-22. I ended up at Lexus dealer to purchase this vehicle due to the current lack of inventory available in today's market and I was Milwaukee on 11-14-22. I ended up at Lexus dealer to purchase this vehicle due to the current lack of inventory available in today's market and I was trying to find a replacement Ford Edge to my 2019 that was just totaled after having that for about a year. Normally I go directly to Ford dealers so I went out on a limb and initially I was happy with my purchase through Lexus of Milwaukee. Fast forward to 52 days and just 2,533 miles later and I see a check engine light on. I scheduled a visit to my preferred local Ford dealership who I trust and have a good relationship with, to which they perform a diagnostic check on my vehicle. What they came back to me with was my engine block has a crack in it and will require a replacement engine to the tune of $9,000. I stated I would need to call back as I needed to take in this news. I have some friends in the automotive industry so I reached out to them and was made aware that this is a common issue with this particular Ford engine and there is a service bulletin out that identifies this exact issue. I called my Ford dealer back and was told that this vehicle is out of the factory powertrain warranty and that as I had recently purchased this vehicle I should try to reach out to the selling dealer to see if they could help. I left a couple of voice message and no one returned my phone calls so I decided to drive up to Lexus to have an in person meeting with the sales manager to address this issue and see if we could come to some sort of reasonable resolution. I explained the situation and he told me there was nothing he could do to help me as it is a used vehicle, he also said his best advice is, "since it is at a dealership I have a good relationship with, I should see if they can clear the check engine light so I can take my car straight to CARMAX and trade it in for the best value and not tell them about the check engine light issue". I responded to this stating that is unethical and I would not be passing along this problem to another company or individual and left. In reflecting on how this sales manager responded to me left me feeling played, taken advantage of, and above all that this was a very shady unethical individual that Lexus of Milwaukee has as a sales manager representing Napleton Auto Group. This is and was not what I expected out of a large chain dealership group that covers 34 different brands (one of them being Napleton Ford in Columbus Wisconsin). What I would expect is that a large group like this would offer some sort of backing to vehicles they sell and quality of work. Lexus of Milwaukee/Napleton Auto Group has shown me that they have no problem charging a premium dollar for their vehicles, that they DO NOT stand behind their cars that they sell, and will give immoral/unethical advice to pass the buck onto another dealership/person to save their own skin. I would never recommend anyone to give business to any Napleton Auto Group store. More
