We ended up receiving a lease return bill three months later and Lexus of Riverside would only cover half. We did not receive any paperwork showing that the car would be returned and we would be billed nor have they supplied any. More
Appalling Sales Department and Management Avoid dealer at all cost. Far from being "Simply Better," as they state. After 2 bad experiences and how they were handled I cannot recommend buying a car here. Customer service from the sales department is horrible. They are not honest and "play games" to make you pay more. After ending my lease and starting another one at the this dealer, I was unable to give good ratings on a survey for my salesman due to his rude attitude and lack of care to make the experience as easy as possible. I showed up at the dealer to get a quote, and they refused to give me one because I didn't have my co-signer present even though they already have our credit info. Then after some convincing they gave me quote that was much higher than my previous car. Cross shopped with dealers in LA which offered much better deals (several thousands) for the same exact car. Wanted to buy from local dealer due to perks, so I contacted them and they started slandering the other dealers. Then I told them that the other car has the car and I will go down to get the car. They changed their tune immediately and said they will match it since they already traded with another dealer. None of the paperwork was started even though they had most of our info on record. We waited for 3 hours, while salesman was on his phone, for them to finally get us in the finance office. When we got in, the finance person was confused and didn't know what was going on. Spent another hour signing paperwork. When we finally finished, the dealer had been closed and the salesman rushed us out the door. Even though I wasn't able to give a good rating on the survey, I returned to the dealer again to purchase another Lexus in hopes of having a better experience with a different salesman. After haggling a bit, the salesman brought a copy of the survey and stated, "My manager says we cannot come any lower on the price due to your past survey. Your survey really hurt us so we need a way to make up for the loss." Punishing a customer for their survey is a low blow. No follow-up was made after they received the survey to find out reasons for mediocre ratings. As I let the salesman know about my disappointment and disgust, the sales general manager (Mark Marchant) finally came out and started yelling and lecturing me. "How can you give us a bad survey after we got you such a good deal? Your deal was one of the worst for my dealer. I trusted that you would give my salesman a good review and you didn't. My salesman lost his holiday bonus because of you and your survey. It seems like we can't please customers like you." He didn't allow me to explain before he told us to leave and stormed off. He seemed to be set on getting revenge and teaching me a lesson. When I got a quote from a different dealer that was a couple thousand less, on a similar car, he started slandering the other dealer saying that it was a trick and too good to be true. Went down to the other dealer and picked up the car for the deal I wanted. It is obvious that the sales GM had an agenda to rip us off by using the past survey as ammunition. When I brought my experience to the attention of the GM for the dealer, she ignored the email, and a different personnel at the dealer had to get a response over the incident for me. She told the personnel to tell me that she "did not agree with my statements and therefore we would need to agree to disagree." No follow-up, apology, or desire to investigate the situation. I have never encountered so many rude managers in my life. They treat their loyal, returning customers like trash after one little survey. Be careful what you say on their surveys because they are not anonymous and can be used against you when you try to be honest. Dealer does not represent the Lexus reputation for excellence. Other dealers provide more competitive pricing and better inventory. More

He assured me over the phone that ending the lease earlier would not be a problem. He even got me numbers knowing about my lease. I scheduled an appointment to see him. He conveniently was busy and had us see someone named John. John test drove the car with me. When we sat down after I drove over an hour each way, he then told me that he couldn't do anything about my lease and I'd have dual payments for 5 months. I wasted a day driving there and being lied to. Not only would I never buy a car from them but after 2 Lexuses I'm considering not owning another. More

I was looking to purchase a 2013 Scion FRS we agreed on a price that morning and I agreed to meet with him @ 2:00 pm PST. I met with Danny test drove unit was ready to purchase. We started the paperwork process and they wanted me to fill out credit application. I did not want to fill out Credit application since I had a blank check from Capital One Auto. The General Sales Manager came over and insisted I give my SS number and fill out a credit application since Capital One has returned checks on the dealership. I asked them why is he on the Capital One Auto website for approved dealerships? No reply. I left the dealership quite upset Danny tried to to Talked to me but the GSM stated let him go! The reality of the situation is he was upset he couldn't run my credit with his banks. SORRY I do not want nor do I need his financing. More
I had been dealing with the internet sales department and had make an appointment to see a particular car. The car got sold a day or so before my appointment. I understand these things can happen, it is th had make an appointment to see a particular car. The car got sold a day or so before my appointment. I understand these things can happen, it is their business after all, however I was not told about the car being sold until I had driven about an hour to make my appointment. This seemed very disingenuous. It seemed like they were attempting a bait and switch with me. I honestly had expected more from a luxury brand such as Lexus. On my way out of the dealership I was approached by one of the senior sales managers asking what had happened and after I had explain the situation to him, he agreed that Danny or the dealership should have called. He offered to make it up on the sale of car we chose. I thanked the gentleman for his attempt to 'make things right', but told him I would take my business elsewhere. More

He went out of his way to make this possible and I truly appreciate that. For those of you writing negative comments, you just need to learn to be more patient and stop crying. I went to the dealership initially in October for a brochure on the 2013 Lexus LS 460. The brochures were not available at that time, but I was advised that the first showing of the LS would be at the brochure on the 2013 Lexus LS 460. The brochures were not available at that time, but I was advised that the first showing of the LS would be at the Orange County Auto Show. I met a sales rep. named Bob B. at the show and was impressed on how helpful and personable he was. When the dealers first shipment arrived Dina C. (from internet sales) called so I could view and test drive the car. A computer inquiry was made to find the vehicle with my specifications. The Sales Manager Randy D. found a qualified LS, and in a timely manner the vehicle was delivered one day sooner than expected. The delivery process went smoothly. Harry T. took the time to explain all the gadjets. Prior to driving away the General Manager Sandy A. and Owner Dan D. came over and thanked us for the purchase. This is the seventh Lexus we have purchased from this dealership since 1993. We have always found the employees to be very professional and helpful throughout the years. The facilities are always clean even the repair/service areas. More
I tried to email the general manager first before this review but no email was found on their website... I was a 3 times returning customer to this dealership wanting to purchase my 5th Lexus. I was tr review but no email was found on their website... I was a 3 times returning customer to this dealership wanting to purchase my 5th Lexus. I was trading in my 2008 LS460 and seeking a new LS. I understood that I would need to wait since the car was in short supply. At first when emailed I was given good information about a new car and pricing. I even took my car to the dealership for service and to meet with the sales rep. At this point I could tell I was being brushed off as I was pushed off to another sales rep by Erskien, I was confused since I had an appointment to meet with him personally. At any rate several emails exchanged from that meeting which somehow went back to Erskien answering them. They were very unprofessional one line emails. At one point I was told that after they determined no one else would be interested in the next LS that came in they would call me...(a month later, still waiting on that call) As if I was the last resort for his next sale. Wow, I felt so excited to be working with this rep... That last email was more than a month ago. I never heard back since then, but that’s ok.... The same day I was told I could have the left over scraps I decided to email Newport Lexus, within 30 minutes I was chatting with Craig. Within 3 days a car was located at the port of LA, white LS 460 - F... I placed a deposit over the phone and a week later was driving my new LS-F sport home... I will say the difference between Riverside and Newport was day and night. I would recommend making the drive (only 15 minutes extra for me) to Newport as everything from start to delivery was first class! I think Riverside needs to take a step back and review their sales training. It also might explain why you will not find the general managers email on the site... I hope they figure this out because clients should not be taken for granted... More
