Hi Cathy, My name is Abbas and I'm the Client Care Manager here. We would like to get in touch with you regarding the events that occured on April 27th. I have spoken to Bob Dyer and the GM of the store to make sure the appropriate actions are taken. With vehicles that are being traded in we can not give a value sight unseen as there are too many factors involved. There is typically a range but even that is subject to a formal appraisal. Dear Ms. Grenier, We are sorry if you feel that our staff was anything less than professional, forthright and sincere in our efforts to negotiate the sale of this vehicle. Our salesperson, sales manager and customer relations manager all made reductions to the transaction price which you declined to accept. When it was clear that a mutually agreeable price would not be reached, we offered to compensate you for your travel expense. Negotiating the purchase of car remotely has its challenges, but we do so successfully many times a month. I am sorry that we were unable to come to a sale price and a trade value upon which we both could agree. We restate our genuine and sincere offer of reimbursing your travel expense.
