L-Certified With Damage + Price Hike Visited dealership to view a newly listed ‘L-Certified’ vehicle. While awaiting a written offer - it was assumed and openly discussed there was no damage on the vehicle. None listed on written packet provided on email. However, after a thorough walk around of the outside of the vehicle a horizontal shaped cut/puncture was discovered on the front left bumper. It was incorrectly fixed to the point the repair was visible through white paint (pink/salmon colored). After being brought to attention of sales person - sales person was caught off guard. Days later, an automatic price notification was received with the listed price of the vehicle going up about $900.00. Do not trust meaning of so called 161 point “L Certified” labeling all over the vehicle. CHECK VEHICLE WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS - if you must. More
