From Service to Sales and back to Service! I took my 2007 Honda CRV in for some repairs last spring. I had the car for about 12.5 years. I was always good about have the oil changed, brakes replaced and other minor repairs, but not much else. It was getting to about 190k miles and things that should have been maintained (i.e. shocks and struts) that weren't needed to be replaced. I recently had a new alternator put in and with the new repairs that were required, I figured it was probably best to go back to having a car payment rather than putting all this money into an older car that had served me quite well. This is where Jesse Robles comes into the picture. When my car was being serviced, he was amazing at keeping me up-to-date with the progress as well as walking me through what repairs were critical to have done immediately and which ones could wait (due to the total of the needed repairs growing). At no point did I feel pressured into agreeing to any repairs. I had such a positive experience dealing with him that I decided to buy my next Honda from Lia Honda in Enfield and I did. I just took it in for its first oil change and was lucky enough to get Jesse again as my Service Adviser. Another great experience! Jesse Robles Jr was very attendance, explain every thing that what will take place, proceed to show me where the customer lounge was, coffee, papers were available, & said it b an hr to 90mins 4 wait, was in 2 tell me that the vehicle was all sevice in less than 25 mins. Explain 2 me all the process that they did on the truck, from the receipt u receive,& than showed me where 2 go 4 payment. Very curtiuos & the place is emaculate. Unpleasant Experience I am sorry to share that me and my wife didn’t have a pleasant experience at Lia Honda location at Enfield, CT. We have been looking for a pre-owned H I am sorry to share that me and my wife didn’t have a pleasant experience at Lia Honda location at Enfield, CT. We have been looking for a pre-owned Honda CR-V 2018 and have visited several local dealerships. We saw a pre-owned Honda CR-V at Lia Honda at Enfield and called to make sure it was available. We drove for almost an hour to this location and we met a salesperson named Mr. Troy. Mr. Troy has a flat affect and doesn’t seem too motivated. However, we took a test drive and liked the car. When we sat down and asked to negotiate the price, Mr. Troy told us that the listed price is firm and made sarcastic comments for even asking for a better price. As I explained that we were hoping to get it at a better price possibly a thousand lesser than it is listed, he seemed upset and said, “Ok, we are done here”. He then pretended to do some other stuff and completely ignored us. Me and my wife felt that it was very disrespectful of him. He could have disagreed politely. It was quite an unusual experience as every dealership we had visited so far have some wiggle room for price nogotiation. We left disappointed and in some ways insulted. Later in the afternoon, he sent us a text, offering the vehicle for $1000 less, the price that we were willing to pay. However, because of his attitude and way he treated us, we didn’t want to deal with him anymore. I hope Mr. Troy will treat others with more respect. More
