I went to this dealership in the past and had a good experience, however my last visit really showed me that this dealershp is one of a kind. I needed service on my car but almost cried when I found out that the part was more then I really could afford. The service advisor went out of his way to look up my past history to find that my car was still under warrenty. It was such a relief that I didn't have to use a charge card to charge a service that I truly couldn't afford. It has been my experience at Lia Honda in Northampton that the people that work there are kind, helpful, diligent, and willing to go the extra mile to provide great service to all that enter their doors. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone who is looking for a great car, but more so to anyone who is looking for the GREAT service they provide. More
I have been a customer of Lia Honda of Northampton for many years. It is the only place I bring my car for service, in fact it is also where I purchased my car. I keep coming back because of the great service I receive. The staff is always friendly and available to answer all my questions. When I call to schedule my appointment, my advisor, Rob Avery, discusses the service with me upfront over the phone. This gives me an idea of what to expect at my appointment and how much it will cost. I am able to drop my car off before work (even if they aren't open) and pick it up after work. And I am always offered a ride. If something comes up that was unexpected with my service, Rob always calls me immediately and discusses the issue with me. I respect this tremendously, because he allows me to make the decision without feeling preasured or lied to. Rob even gives me a heads up when something should be rechecked and possibly handled at my next service. I remember one particular phone call asking me if I would like my inspection sticker taken care of, since it was expiring that week. It hadn't even occured to me that it was that time of year again. And it was very convenient to have it handled while the rest of my service was being taken care of. When I return, my car is always ready on time, and parked in an easy to find location. I have never been upset with my bill, and I attribute most of that to the fair prices and the fact that I am informed upfront of what to expect, so there are no surprises. For all these reasons I give Rob Avery and the service department a 5 star rating, however, I think he is more like a 10! More
I have been going to this dealership for service for over 6 years. All of the staff are helpful and responsive. The service manager is actively involved with all customers. They want you happy. I have 270,000 miles on my 06 CRV and I credit them and the fact that they listen to my concerns. We have made a good team keeping this car in excellent shape for my delivery business. I had done all my previous service at another local dealership and never felt as good or trusting of the service as I do with this dealership. They make you feel you are important for as little as a burnt out headlight or replacing wiper blade inserts. This is a very busy service department and they do an amazing job helping so many every single day. They are aware of my need for a reliable delivery vehicle and that I don't want it to be off the road for any significant amount of time. Repairs are scheduled around the hours the vehicle isn't being used and when all else fails, a loaner or rental is offered. I can't say enough good things. I also really appreciate the parts department...without parts there would be no repairs and their parts department is vital in making the repairs happen quickly and on schedule. More
Rob and Greg have always treated me like family when I come in. They are fair and trustworthy. The work is done properly and when they say it will be. The minute I stepped into Lia Honda of Northampton I was given full attention from Melanie, a very friendly Sales rep. I had a great experience for buying my first new car. I bought a new 2011 Honda CRV-EXL from Mike Conlon and was very happy with the offer. They offered $800 less than the Greenfield Honda dealership for the same car. Mike is a very friendly salesman who makes sure all your needs are taken care of to your satisfaction. He wasn't pushy and answered all our questions. He was willing to meet our requests with ease and we appreciate his professionalism. We love our new car! More
As a person who literally buys new cars every 18 months and is therefore no stranger to the process, I decided to give Lia a try. Having worked with Pat Esposito several times over the last fifteen years at other dealerships, I knew that he was the first person I would call. When I later walked into the Lia store, I had a feeling I would be a Lia customer for life. That feeling was cemented by the delivery of the car just two days later. Pat and Melony worked tirelessly to ensure that I was satisfied on every front, and I could not be happier with my new car. We will be on the market next year for a new truck for my husband, and have no doubt that truck will come from Lia. We would not consider shopping anywhere else. More

Lia Honda took our trade in and sold us a 2007 Kia Spectra in 2008. I recently traded the Kia in on another vehicle. The Kia did not hold it's value (2 years later it wasn't worth half of what we p Spectra in 2008. I recently traded the Kia in on another vehicle. The Kia did not hold it's value (2 years later it wasn't worth half of what we paid for it...NEVER BUY A KIA!!) but that wasn't necessarily Lia Honda's fault (other than the knowledge that they were selling us a crapy car). The entire sales experience was a joke...but that's not the worst of it... FRAUD WARNING! Lia Honda sold an "extended warranty" for said Kia in the amount of $2,235. The warranty was sold as "kicking in" after the 60,000 mile Kia manufacture warranty expired. When I sold the car, I went to refund the warranty as it was never used and the car only had 61,000 miles on it. To my surprise, I learned that the warranty was written from mile 0 - 50,000 and 72 months. Basically, it was less than the manufacture warranty offered by Kia. I contact Lia Honda for the paper work (which was never provided during the original sale) and to discuss the fraud. The manager agreed that we had been swindled. (Of course under different management). The GM agreed we had been robbed. Neither were authorized to refund the stolen funds. They brought the issue to the owner who offered to sell me another car at cost.... That was it. I am unwilling to purchase another car from LIA HONDA and would like a refund for the fraudulent warranty. After significant research we have found Lia Honda's prices (even at cost) are unreasonable. Why would we support a business that STOLE from us? Hopefully, Lia Honda's owners will see the light before lawyers get involved and I will have better news to report, like they are interested in changing their reputation for poor customer service and defrauding customers. Beware! The sales experience was in-kind to the fraud.... price increased well into negotiations and the car was not repaired prior to customer pick up. Brought the car back 5 times for same repair. Never fixed the "swishing noise" behind the dash.... was told that's the way Kia's were built. Brought the poor service up to the "new manager"..... was told they were sorry but nothing could be done. Honestly - I am not a complainer. We have recently just purchased a car from Jerry Rome Nissan and couldn't have had a better experience. This is the 7th car I have purchased in my life..... and I have never had such a horrible experience, never been stolen from, never been lied to like I was at LIA HONDA! More
