Beware We purchased a minivan from Lia in January 2019. It was all good until I had the mandatory sit down with their finance person, Don Wagonblott. This gu We purchased a minivan from Lia in January 2019. It was all good until I had the mandatory sit down with their finance person, Don Wagonblott. This guy doesn't take no for an answer. After I politely said no thank you several times to financing or an extended warranty the conversation got heated. As payback for not buying what he was selling he had my wife and I waiting for 2 hours in the showroom when we came to pick up the van. I also had to call the Lia corporate office to get Don to put the $500 back on my credit card that was owed to me. Fast forward to last week-- drove the van to Florida. The brakes started throbbing - left rear wheel getting hot. Long story short the left rear brake caliper and brake line were twisted one revolution when installed at Lia, pinching the line and preventing the brake fluid pressure from leaving the caliper when the brake pedal is released causing the rotor to heat up and warp. Also the twisted line was rubbing on the tire and was almost punctured. Its interesting that Lia didn't notice this hazard when they did their N.Y.S safety inspection. Enjoying my new Honda CR-V !!! Got a new CRV last week at Lia’s Honda Williamsville NY. It was a rainy Saturday when I went there, yet Antoine was able to show me around and helped Got a new CRV last week at Lia’s Honda Williamsville NY. It was a rainy Saturday when I went there, yet Antoine was able to show me around and helped me deciding what would be the best car for me based on what I told him I was looking for. While test driving the car, Antoine explained to me about the car’s safety features and specifications. We also talked a little bit about customizable features for the car. I returned to the showroom a couple of times because I had some questions about the car. Each time Antoine and Renee provided me with the right information and excellent customer service. After I decided what car I would go for, they helped me with the paperwork. They even transferred my old plates to my new car so I didn’t have to go to the DMV (which is always a plus). All in all, buying a new car was stressful, but it is good to know you can always find good people guiding you along the way without pushing you into get things you are not interested. Oil change, 4 new tires installed as well as an alignment to finish it all off. Instead of a long wait or ride home, I was given a nice loaner vehicle so I could take care of all my morning errands to boot.
