My experience at Lia Hyundai was extremely disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. I recently purchased a brand-new Hyundai from an out-of-state dealership and decided to bring it here since it’ and frustrating from start to finish. I recently purchased a brand-new Hyundai from an out-of-state dealership and decided to bring it here since it’s close to my home. My vehicle had been making a noise when braking, and since it’s brand new, I wanted to have it properly checked out. When I brought my vehicle in for service, I assumed I’d be treated with the same level of service expected from any Hyundai dealership. Instead, I was charged $179.24 for a diagnostic fee only to be told afterward that they couldn’t help me and that I needed to go back to the original dealership. To me, that makes no sense — Hyundai is Hyundai, and I expected a local dealer to stand behind the brand and assist a new owner. The service advisor, Harold Hernandez was not helpful and came across as condescending instead of trying to provide any real solutions. The entire experience felt money-driven rather than customer-focused. I left feeling disappointed, disgusted, and certain that I will never return. I had hoped Lia Hyundai would be the dealership I could rely on for service moving forward, but they made it very clear that customer care is not a priority here. More
