Lia Hyundai reached out to me and invited me down on January 2nd. I arrived and was greeted by Josh in sales. We discussed my reasons for being there and what I was looking for. I told him I still owed money on my truck and he said they needed to find out how much I owed left. So he proceeded to tell me they needed to access my credit report to see what my remaining balance was. I told him that was fine as long as they were not going to run my credit and ad an inquiry. I specifically asked this twice. He reassured me this wouldn't happen and stepped away. Low and behold my credit alerts me that Hyundai has ran my credit and I have a new inquiry. When Josh came back I asked about this and was told that the finance associate was not supposed to do that and unfortunately there was no way to reverse this issue. This was my first red flag with this dealer. It was towards the end of the day and Josh asked if he could set me up with an appointment for January 5th. I agreed. I arrived at the dealer and was told Josh was not in that day. I left and came back the next day January 6th. Josh was there and we proceeded to look at a few vehicles and I picked one I liked. Josh asked if I wanted to proceed and I agreed. Once again they ran my credit and I was told they had to do it. Then Josh told me that if I wanted a better rate that I should consider a co-signer. I was ok with this and understood. I let Josh know that my co-signer had lower credit it then me and he said it was fine they just need more income from a second person for a better rate. I agreed and we set up another appointment for Saturday January 7th. I was on my way to the dealer which is a 35 min ride when Josh called right as I was getting off the highway and he told me he had to cancel my appointment and we could reschedule. Of course I was a little upset but I understand things happen. We set up an appointment for Monday January 9th. I arrived and was told Josh was out but another sales associate could help me out. Marshad I believe his name was introduced himself and we sat down at his desk. He had no clue what was going on and tried to start over from scratch. I told him I've been through all this and I have all my paperwork ready to go. He he proceeded to go talk to the fiance guy and put my co-signer info into the system. Within 2 minutes he was back out and very rudely told me that our credit was bad and we didn't make enough money. I was taken back by the way he said this and was a little confused. Between both of us we make plenty of money so I didnt understand. He didn't give me a reason or anything. He was very rude and didn't provide me with any information. I don't know how a dealer can treat a customer like this. After making so many trips and being tossed around I felt so upset with the way I was treated. I asked for my papers back and left the dealership. I've purchased many cars and this is by far my worse experience ever. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone. More

I wasn't looking for a car until April. I was debating whether or not I wanted to lease a new car or buy a used car. I was on my way to Carmax and at the last minute decided to stop at Lia. I have always loved the Elantra and my parents owned and loved the Sonata.years ago. I drove it a few times and loved the way the car drove. Rajinder Kumar offered to show me the Elantra. He made me a very good offer to rent the car but I had to check first to see if I was able to do it. I am on disability and didn't know if I could have a new car This was on Saturday 11/26/2016 I found that I could have a new car but could not put down the asking price for a down payment. I returned to the dealership on Monday and told Raj that I could have the car but couldn't put down the asking price for a down payment. He worked with me and came up with the allowable down payment and had it approved by his manager. He went above and beyond to see that I was able to get the car. Some salesmen would just say sorry but he knew I was excited about the car and wanted it. I picked up my car on Wednesday and love it. My friend is looking for a SUV and I told her to go see Raj. more $ for less than 1 year old vehicle trade in I did feel my car that I traded in of less than 1 year (2016 Hyundai Elantra with only 14,000 miles) was worth more the trade in value as it had more I did feel my car that I traded in of less than 1 year (2016 Hyundai Elantra with only 14,000 miles) was worth more the trade in value as it had more options than the new one but agreed to final payment amount in the end. I do love the new car purchased but it does take a little to get used to as it an automatic with the dual clutch thingy. I only drive in drive I don't use the paddle shifters or drive in sport mode. It gives a little shutter at first take off from a stop - this I was told is perfectly normal- but it does take a little to get use to. More

"Here we go again" Like the song, "Here we go again" Your car, (New or Old) needs to be taken care of. I have the choice of bring it anywhere! But I choose to bring it back to the Hyundai Dealership, "LIA". I can give you a thousand reasons, but the one that sticks out, is the first Sonata I for the first Sonata I purchased. It was a 2006 that I purchased from a non Hyundai Dealer. Just having the oil changed was a pain!!! Anyway, The problem turned out to be an "O: ring around the plug. This ALWAYS NEEDED TO BE CHANGES!!! Every time the oil was changed, the same thing happened!!! OIL LEAK! The dealer I purchased the car from was very apologetic, but I thought If they had to bring it back to a Hyundai Dealer,,,,,, Then,,,,,,,, why don't I do it at my convince .The were several other problems that the 1st. Dealer made excuses for, and Lia took care of for me, I since have purchased a 2009 Verecruz, and a 2011 Elantra "Touring". and a 2014 Hyundai Azera!! All from Lia Hyundai! I would say, that purchasing several cars from the same place, puts me in good with everyone. Maybe so, but I have watched how the service writers work, and take care of everyone. Courtney Mims is so accommodating, I feel as if she was my daughter!!!. Well Done Courtney. As far as the service mgr., well He has to show the way for those who work under him, and I know first hand how he works. Chris Derick is the "MAN"!!! Thanks to all in the Service Department!!! Happy with my Santa Fe Ira really took time to go over everything especially my bluetooth.
