I have purchased two vehicles from Rockland Toyota, and the second was purchased from Royce Ramos. Royce was the best salesman I've ever dealt with at any dealership. He took the time to listen to what I wanted in the car, and although he didn't have the car in stock, he did not try to switch me over to what he had. he went and found the vehicle and had it delivered to the dealership in two days. There was no double talk, no high pressure tactics, and all in all a very pleasurable experience. The next person I've dealt with at Rockland Toyota was in the parts department. His name is Andy (I'm sorry, I can't remember his last name). Andy listened patiently to my questions, and since he has the same car, was able to give me an informed, well thought out plan for adding Toyota accessories to my car. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Rockland Toyota as a dealership, and would very highly recommend both Royce and Andy as top quality representatives of who the right people are to make a car buying experience pleasurable More
Royce Ramos is the best car dealer that I've ever worked with. I bought my Scion xD from him, two years ago. When my credit report came back, we found several reports that did not belong to me. He worked not only to get me the car, but to help remove the bad credit off those reports. Royce at no point threw me to the side like most dealers do and move onto the next customer, just to make a buck. He did above and beyond any expectations that I had for a dealer. The day I picked the car up, he stayed until way after business hours making sure that we worked out all the details and I was happy with the deal. Now you may say, it's because he made money off of the car and of course he would stay late, this is not the case because they don't make much money off of "locked price" cars. Royce stayed because he is a dedicated, hard, middle class worker. Even when I had to get furniture home from Ikea, Royce answered his phone and helped me figure out the best way to load everything into such a small car. THAT IS DEDICATION. Since then, we still talk from time to time. Even having a bite to eat when I come in for an oil change. If you wish to buy anything from this dealership, without a doubt, Royce is the man to go through. More

In his efforts I never felt better about buying a car. I felt like i was working with a very honest and informative dealer. He made sure I got what I wanted and made sure my needs were met. When I was deciding on the color of my XB I was going to go with the silver because dirt and scratches dont show up as much but when Royce brought me out to the lot I saw an XB in a teal color and I was like wow! this is a great color but I think I should play it safe and go with the silver. Royce pointed out to me that I gravitated towards the teal color and that I should go with what I love, also he pointed out that it suited my personality and the teal was more me so I went with it. I have never been happier and I get tons of complements. I think it is so great that Royce was able to see what was best for me and steer me in the right direction I felt like I was dealing with a great friend not just a salesman. Also when I was leaving the dealership Royce went over everything about the car with me in great detail and told me not to hesitate to call if I had any questions. All I can say Is if you want a Scion go see Royce because he made my purchase of my XB an excellent experience and I LOVE MY CAR!!!!! and I am so thankful for Royce's time and efforts. He will make you feel so at ease and you feel confident in your purchase. More

He could have said the cleaning staff left already, or did not have to say anything and could have just given us the car. We were just so amazed by his commitment to service, which we are used to in Japan but never expected in this country. More
We came car shopping at Rockland Toyota a half-hour before the dealer was scheduled to close for the day. We were just beginning our car search and didn't really expect to buy, but the sales staff went before the dealer was scheduled to close for the day. We were just beginning our car search and didn't really expect to buy, but the sales staff went out of their way to answer our questions before we finally decided to buy a car from the dealer more than an hour later. We would have liked to see more inventory to choose from, though. Since it was dark outside, we had only the models parked at the front of the store to choose from. I later found that the whole back lot was stocked with cars, though I wasn't sure if they had models we would have liked. In the end, we saw two Matrixes on display in the front. Though the store was closing for the night, staff made every effort to make one of the cars available for a test drive, which we did. Bill was very knowledgable about the car options and his inventory. No question went unanswered. He even gave us two alternative financing options, giving us a monthly payment quote that was accurate down to the dollar. Royce helped us with the test drive and tutored us on the car's workings and final prep before delivery. He even volunteered (gladly) to work on his day off so the dealer, at our convenience, could get the car inspected, something that staff had inadvertently forgotten to do before we picked up the car. Royce and Bill also agreed to provide all-weather mats for our Matrix, an item that didn't come with the car. Overall, though, we are telling our friends to shop at Rockland Toyota because the entire staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. More

HE WASNT THERE TO SELL YOU ANYTHING... AND HE DIDNT GIVE ME A LOAD OF JUNK.. A FEW TIMES HE STOPPED AND ASKED IF THERE WAS ANY WAY HE COULD ASSIST ME BETTER... I MEAN HE WAS JUST GREAT. In March of 2008, I leased a 2008 Corolla from Rockland Toyota. I initially began my car shopping at Prestige Toyota in Ramsey, NJ. I got a call back that same day from Royce Ramos in sales, letting me know they did not have the color on the lot but they could get it for me with no problem. From my first face-to-face meeting with Royce to the delivery of the car just a few weeks later, the entire experience could not have been smoother. I was treated respectfully and with great care from start to finish. I have not had a single problem with my Corolla since first leasing it two years ago. When I go to the dealership for my routine service like oil changes, I am always warmly welcomed back and always receive fast & courteous service. Even now, two years later, if I call Royce Ramos at Rockland Toyota with a question or a request, he recognizes my name right away and asks me how my family is. This kind of personal service is something I really value, as I am sure most consumers do in this day and age. I would absolutely purchase my future vehicles with Rockland Toyota, and I have also recommended the dealership to friends and family. More
Overall this was probably the best experience I have had in purchasing/leasing a vehicle. Royce kept in nearly constant contact with me for the 6 days this process took, wasn't pushy when I wasn't sure what in purchasing/leasing a vehicle. When the initial vehicle I looked at got sold, he let me now right away and we set out to find something else. Once the final paperwork was signed and I was good to go, even tho the dealership was closingfor the night he sat with me for nearly a half hour showing me how to do stuff in my car. There were even a few times I invaded his personal time and asked questions while he was off and he was happy to answer them. Top notch service! More
Before we even met Royce, we were happy with the price on the windsheild of the van we purchased. I trusted him from the very beginning. He got us a great deal, and we felt relived that we didn't purchase the vechile we saw earlier. My boss, (Miriam Aronoff), and co-worker, (Roberta Pacht), convinced us that Rockland Toyota was the place to go, and they were right. The service, children's play area, all the people(from the receptionist to the finance deptartment), were great.... We will be back! Thank you for making our experiance so wonderful. The whole staff worked so quickley because we had to get our son off the bus. If that's not good service I don't know what is. P.S.S- Royce went completly out of his way and, showed us ALL the features of the van, filled the tank with gas, cleaned the stickers off the windows, he even put his head in harms way to show us how safe the automatic door is, and I am certain that there are many other things he did that we don't even know about. He is an asset to first time car buyers like us and to ensure a great recommendation and repeat business More
