They are slow and seem completely unmotivated to sell. They also use false advertising. We were pursuing a non-Ford vehicle with over 90k miles on it. The listing clearly stated that one of the features was their "Liberty 4 Life" program. When flipping through the pictures, one of the pictures said "reasons to buy from Liberty" and the lifetime powertrain warranty was mentioned in those reasons, too. When I got to the dealership and decided we wanted the car, they told us it doesn't qualify for the program. When I asked why it says it has it in the listing, they said that all their vehicles say it. I took the vehicle to a Subaru service department and they told me it needed a transmission flush and Liberty refused to do it. They also connected the computer to it and found 3 error codes. Why didn't Liberty's service department do this before trying to sell the car to me? The tailgate was only working intermittently. The salesman gave up trying to get the tailgate to open when we testdrove it so he put the license plate in the side window. Even with that, they wouldn't explore further what the issue was because it worked later when we tried it. I had put $500 down on the car for them to hold it for me until we had the deal all worked out. I left a voicemail for the used car manager to explain Liberty 4 Life and he never returned my call. They were selling the car as is and they were sticking to that. After 2 weeks of no communication or signs that they really wanted to sell me a car and make me a happy customer, they sent me a text message saying they refunded the deposit and sold the car to someone else. I will never consider buying from this dealership. What a horrible experience. More
Took my truck in for warranty work and three days later I couldn’t get through on the phone or get someone to call me back! Terrible service department with no customer service skills at all! Absolutely terrible dealership. Bought a vehicle there and my vehicle was in the shop at least 5 times since buying it. I bought a lemon that the interior was painted and there was dye everywhere. This is the most dishonest dealership you can go to so stay away. I paid the price by losing thousands on my vehicle. More
Never buy from liberty ford they r a rip off. . they knew they sold me a lemon car.. brought it all the way down to me an hour and a half and said nothing was wrong with it took it to a dealer by . they knew they sold me a lemon car.. brought it all the way down to me an hour and a half and said nothing was wrong with it took it to a dealer by me said what was wrong with it. Liberty Ford shipped it back up to their place. It was supposed to fix the torque converter and some clunking in the front. I got it back two weeks later, same thing they never fixed anything so now I gotta get it fixed again through a dealership around me because apparently they don’t care to fix it or have a happy customer..
