Really Poor Customer Service--A Wasted Morning I have purchased many cars over the years and have a good idea of what great customer service looks like. What I received on Saturday morning 10/29/16 I have purchased many cars over the years and have a good idea of what great customer service looks like. What I received on Saturday morning 10/29/16 was less than great on so many levels. My mission was to upgrade to a 2017 CTS-V which are rather limited production. I suppose that I should have listened to what my gut feelings were telling me about the lack of knowledge of the product from a young intern, but I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt in hopes that some manager could assist. When it came time for an offer on my trade, a perfect 2015 CTS V-Sport Premium with 7100 miles, I got my first shock, a weak trade-in evaluation. The worst was yet to come when the sales manager, Jim Redden more or less told me that I could "take it or leave their full sticker price as there are no discounts on CTS-V cars". I could look around but no other dealer would do any better he added and I was "lucky" to be able to buy from them a volume dealer. Perhaps they have clientele who are willing to pay full price for a CTS-V and I'm really happy for them if they can extract full MSRP from their customers but I need some sort of compromise. I can tell from their arrogant and condescending attitude it will never be from me at Lindsay Cadillac. I was made to feel very unlucky. Make this your last stop when shopping like my gut instincts warned me. This was a total waste of a beautiful Saturday morning! RM More
