In the end couldn't make a deal with this dealership. They were unable to budge for 500 bucks insisting that their lot had too many cars and that they gave me below market rate because they have too many They were unable to budge for 500 bucks insisting that their lot had too many cars and that they gave me below market rate because they have too many vehicles and would have a hard time selling it (its a 2016 with excellent gas mileage and low mileage for its year it would be sold faster then the car I was trying to buy). They low balled the trade in value of my car by more then 2000 dollars. Buying a car here might be a good deal, but do your trade in somewhere else. I had my own financing going in, but was willing to finance with them if the price struck was good. They were trying to rope me to get my credit run before numbers were even spoken about. That is not a cool move. Also don't put your least experienced sales rep on real deal when you know that person is looking to buy and drove an hour to close a deal if that doesn't scream serious buyer I don't know what does. The people were nice and knew where I was coming from, just wished they would of took a second to think. They could of sealed the deal other ways, but their reps were not thinking out the box. Even something simple like hey that decal you mentioned you like we will put it on if you take this deal could of been simple or hey we will throw some all weather mats in the deal if that will get you too close we can't go any further on the pricing. Small stuff to seal the deal can make the difference. Also done sales for a long time so I wont be pressured. Also the vehicle was not even ready to technically be brought home yet they still had to put stuff on it (Packages) , so we would of had to travel another hour to get the rest of the vehicle put together out of our own time. More
