I had an appointment to look at a car they advertised. They contacted me at 6 pm the evening before and again at 9 am the next day to see if I was on my way. My appt. was at 10 am and I live 2 hrs away. W They contacted me at 6 pm the evening before and again at 9 am the next day to see if I was on my way. My appt. was at 10 am and I live 2 hrs away. When I arrived they informed me the car was sold the previous night but they have one just like it but it was $1,000 more. Whu would you not tell me.. They said they would work with me on price since the other car was sold. They lowered the car from $12,900 to $11,900 but I had to buy a 2 year routine maintenace package for $1,700 and it was non negotiable. This was my worst car buying experience the lies and deception were unbelievable. When I asked why they did not give the fact that I had to pay for a routine maintenance package on there websit they said every dealership does it. WOW! I thought it would be better at a chevy dealership but I was wrong at least at this one. More
After receiving The price of a vehicle through USAA car buying service, verifying that the vehicle was in fact in stock, verifying that the offer was in fact what I was going to be paying for the car plus buying service, verifying that the vehicle was in fact in stock, verifying that the offer was in fact what I was going to be paying for the car plus taxes and tag, the general manager Angel tried to pull a fast one. He tried to add $1750 to the price of the vehicle because I was not using their financing. Additionally he did not even have the common courtesy to speak with me after I waited 20 minutes for him to explain this. It seems there is no integrity left here. I was very pleased by the way we were treated and Chris deserves all the credit for staying hours past closing time and making this deal possible when other dealers couldn't or wouldn't, he came thru. He even offered without me even having to ask to bring us the vehicle when it is ready all the way to Virginia Beach area, instead of having us take it late that night and have to bring it back because their service department still needed to check it out and fix a few things. So far I would say this was a stellar buying experience, way better than the last one, and soon ill have the vehicle I should have bought the last time. Sometimes you meet the wrong people trying to sell you a car and this time I felt lucky that I had the oportunity to meet the right person at a car dealership, and that goes a long way. He even texted me late to make sure we got home safe. This is what everyone looks for and can never find when it comes to car salesman. Having a fun personable honest and communicative person when buying the truck of my dreams was a blessing and a wonderful experience so far. Thank you Chris for going above and beyond and I look forward to you bringing me my truck next week when its ready. I would recommend asking for Chris Brown when you are looking to purchase a vehicle at this dealership, I know I will! Oh and Chris, there's a great Seafood restaurant right here near my house, so get your service guys movin on the repairs and it'll be my treat, just like this whole process has been! More
