To the General Sales Manager, What a Day!!!! So me was looking for a new a car...founds said new car. went in to do the typical I say this, they say that. Long story short.. was offered $150 for So me was looking for a new a car...founds said new car. went in to do the typical I say this, they say that. Long story short.. was offered $150 for my trade in (granted the trade in is a xxx) and a bottom line price with the trade in. I said no that is cool and started to get up. So they were like let's see what we can do. Walked away and came back with a different lower price. All good, but wasn't at the price I was looking for and walked out. So after thinking about it some, I decided what the xxxx and went back in and was going to BUY the thing. I was like alright so x dollars and I keep my xxx trade in. They sales guy (very nice) was like we are giving you $500 for it. I was like what??? He said on the paper it has $500 for the trade in and a final price. I was like dude the math doesn't add up. The bottom price was for like $350 for my trade in, He was like let me see which number the general manager means and comes back with the bottom number is only $350 for trade in. So of course, I want the $500 written on the paper. Sales manager comes out and was like I can go ask for the $500 and I was like xxxx yes. Comes back with nope final offer is with the $350. I answered with send the general manager out and tell me this. General manager doesn't come out and I can see him, so I go in and say come on give me the $150 and I will leave a good review. His answer was are you threatening me.. I answered with not at all and walk away. He follows me to the sales guy's desk and looks at the paper and I quote " I just wrote a number down to get to the bottom number." I was like well your math was a little off. He answers with bottom number is the bottom number. I responded with a not so nice word that rhymes with luck. He heard and said what did you say, So couldn't go back on words and repeated what I said a walked out... Funny part of the story is that the sales manager says at the beginning phase of the process and I quote again "I wont loose a sale over couple hundred dollars" Well guess they did and lost a long time customer of 4 prior purchases.
