After more than two weeks of silence, missed follow-ups, and vague non-answers, I’ve completely lost faith in Lithia Dodge of Eugene. I brought in my vehicle expecting professional service. What I got was a black hole of communication and a service department that operates like customer updates are optional. When I finally received a message from Jimmy Schaberg, it was full of excuses: “We can’t fix it without parts…” “I’m sorry the communication was delayed…” “We ordered your part without a deposit...” So now I’m supposed to be grateful they finally did the bare minimum after two weeks of nothing? No timelines. No accountability. No proactive communication. And no follow-up on the personal property left in my vehicle. Just weak apologies and a pat on the back for doing what they should’ve done on day one. Let me be clear: this is not a communication problem. This is a culture problem. Their service department clearly doesn’t value customers’ time or trust. If I hadn’t pushed for answers, I’d probably still be waiting in silence while my vehicle sat untouched. I’ll never be back. And if you care about your time, your property, or being treated like more than an inconvenience—take your business anywhere else. More

Been trying to get a person on the phone for FIVE DAYS. Nobody will answer the phone or return calls from voice mails left. Pretty bad. Cannot see how a car dealership can run without answering the phone EVER, not once. Had my car towed there last night finally, left a note with the tow truck driver who called me back when he delivered my car and said he gave it to a service advisor name Billy, still no call. It’s now near the end of business the next day (day six) still absolutely no human interaction. Wonder if I will need to send another tow truck to pick up my jeep and find another place. So it turns out in working on trading in this van, Lithia in southern Oregon has now brought it to my attention that I was overcharged market value by atleast 6,000$ and the specific extended warranty with 1 in southern Oregon has now brought it to my attention that I was overcharged market value by atleast 6,000$ and the specific extended warranty with 100$ deductible was all a very very poor deal for me.. Why was this the way that you guys took care of this deal????? I live in Nevada and was on vacation in Oregon. In Newport my 2023 Ram 2500 DPF went out and the only dealership in the state of Oregon that had my part was in Eugene. Had to purchase a new tank myself and then they put it in free...Very sneaky though that they sealed the hole and did not tell me. Plus they tell me when you sign to leave your rig for service, they are not liable for damage. Tank is about 500. new, I paid 125. for used one without a hole....But they don't want to respond to me, when I say, if you want to do the right thing you could pay the 125., and so I am posting again. So I appreciate the used tank install a ton, I do not appreciate being sneaky and then act online like you care about your customers and want them to contact you, and then do not respond to them. More

In 2006 we were shopping for a new Ram. I was driving a 2001 Ram 2500 4x4 6 speed stick shift. Loved it towing in the mountains , but hated it in the city. Eugene Lithia had a diesel shortbed quad on their lot and we eventually came to terms. ALTHOUGH I nearly walked out! Would you believe they refused to give back my keys after they test drove my trade in? Oh they played several hardball tricks on me, but I can be just as nasty too, but they were wearing me down and that’s something that you are at a disadvantage with as they can get other salesmen in to relieve them whereas I’m stuck there and the danger is getting so xxxx tired that you’ll just sign to get out of there! I fought it out, and swore “Never Again!”. But 12 years later I stopped by to see what’s up now. This time they lowballed my trade. The one they sold me! My O6’ Ram 2600 quad Diesel 4x has 105k miles and in perfect shape. I’ve kept it up, just because it’s easier that way, but the truck has been good to us. Once the computer went out and I replaced the catalytic converter. It’s 18 years old and I’m leery about trading it in for a song. Yet my wife already warned me “I’m not having two trucks in the driveway!” What’s a guy to do? I’m getting old & tired and not looking forward to tangling with the saleslot predators. I worked in the industry years ago and you should hear what they call us when we can’t hear them. They regard us with disdain, and rob us blind all the while shaking your hand & smiling; acting like your best friend! You know to beware. It’s just that they wear you down. Don’t be a nice guy. Sharpen your pencil & gird yourself for WAR! It’s a shame it’s like this. But it is. If you think it isn’t, I want to show you some property I have in Florida!”…. More
